Dog fouling in playground, 26th April
Our pupils at Hexham Priory School access the playground area frequently. This week, when visiting the playground, there has been an excessive amount of dog fouling within the playground. Our pupils have limited understanding and there has been an incident where a pupil has picked up some of the dog excrement. This is obviously extremely unhygienic and cannot happen again. We would appreciate this being looked in to and monitored.

Regular fly tipping at the west side of 18 Beaufront Avenue, NE461JD., 21st April
Fly tipping has happened to the side and behind 18 Beaufront Avenue for many years. As a result there is now Japanese knotweed growing to the south of 18 Beaufront Avenue. Fly tipping to the side is happening almost daily with garden waste and rubble. Please install 2 'no tipping' signs to deter this behaviour.

Unevening edging, 15th April
The edging of the new footpath on the corner where the taxi rank and the pizza shop are , has a lip where it doesn't run flush with the tarmac . My elderly mother has tripped and fallen as a result of the lip while going for a taxi . They need relaying to make them even as it's clearly a trip hazard as my father was told that my mother was the third fall in that spot .

Footpath on the A695 at Dilston completely devoid of any surface., 9th April
This is a section (approx 15 metres) of footpath between the bridge at Devils Water, Dilston and the Scout camp on the main A695 road which has deteriorated to such an extent that it is either completely filled with rainwater or just mud. It is impassable and the many runners/walkers that use this footpath are having walk/run in the road to get past it. It is very dangerous for pedestrians as it is just before the brow of the hill and cars travel at 60 mph + on this road. This has been an issue for a considerable period of time but has now deteriorated to such a state that it is unusable. I realise funds will be tight but if the pavement cannot be replaced, could some remedial action please be taken to make it safe for pedestrians. I honestly think that we could end up with a serious RTC if not addressed soon. Many thanks

Water pouring off field from a farmer’s field drain, onto the road, washing away tarmac and creating big gully in side of road., 9th April
The farmer has recently put a field drain in emptying onto the road. This is the worst it has ever been, there are two waterfalls. Very dangerous. The whole road is like a river and the current road drains aren’t enough to cope. The tarmac is being washed away too which result in more potholes.
