Blocked Drain - Ladycutters Lane, 9th April
This was originally reported a few months ago and there has been some work done but it must not have worked. Please can you take another look? Note from local resident :-
"I just wanted to follow up on the blocked drain. The good news is that the contractors turned up and cleaned the drain, the bad news is that they didn't go as far as unblocking it."

Footpath on the A695 at Dilston completely devoid of any surface., 9th April
This is a section (approx 15 metres) of footpath between the bridge at Devils Water, Dilston and the Scout camp on the main A695 road which has deteriorated to such an extent that it is either completely filled with rainwater or just mud. It is impassable and the many runners/walkers that use this footpath are having walk/run in the road to get past it. It is very dangerous for pedestrians as it is just before the brow of the hill and cars travel at 60 mph + on this road. This has been an issue for a considerable period of time but has now deteriorated to such a state that it is unusable. I realise funds will be tight but if the pavement cannot be replaced, could some remedial action please be taken to make it safe for pedestrians. I honestly think that we could end up with a serious RTC if not addressed soon. Many thanks

Following the recent high winds we have noticed that some of the trees on the left hand side of this road (B6529)going down towards Corbridge Station appear in a precarious position and as they are next to the road could cause problems, would it be possible to have them inspected to determine if any remedial work was required to prevent some ofv them falling onto the road,, 9th April
The trees at the side of this stretch of the road following high winds appear to be in a precarious position and may be in danger of collapsing onto the road, causing major traffic problems. It would be useful to have them inspected for safety reasons.

Dead branches, 24th March
Hi, Can someone please come & get rid of all the dead leaves & branches. The council have cut back the hedges & swept all the leaves & branches to the side of the path. However the wind just blows them across the path which is very wide causing litter, hazards for small children, prams, thorny branches left causing harm to dogs paws, etc. The branches, leaves, etc need to be swept up and taken away to be composted, not left along the side of the path. Thank you.
