Clacking grate, 13th March
There is a loose grate cover on Station Road, right outside my home. It clacks and clanks every time a car passes down the hill. I have been in contact with Northumbria Water for three months about this. They came and “fixed“ it on Friday (8th March) complete with traffic controls, but the “repair” managed to make it even louder. It is starting to affect my health. (Weirdly, some council workers came and stuck some tarmac round it the day before the water guys came, 7th March, but that didn’t improve things either)

The street light is not working, 21st October
The street light is not working on Cloverfield Avenue so it is extremely dark during the night.

Rubbish front and back garden, 12th April
18 Deepdale crescent Newcastle NE5 3HQ. He put too much rubbish on his front and back garden wich is effect my daily life. I know I'm living in council house but this is does not mean that I don't have rights to live good life. Please send someone to see this.

This roundabout is far too busy to not have a traffic light system in place! The amount of accidents and risky driving is disappointing.

A car parked across 2 disabled spaces, no blue badge visible., 13th June
Newcastle upon tyne, Fawdon, Aldi car park, around 15:30 on 13.06.22. A car has been parked across to spaces for disabled people with no blue badge visible. The driver said he had to park this way so his wife had it easier to load bags of soil. Thankfully they were gone in 5 minutes.

Haddricks Mill Road traffic congestion, 15th March
At busy times, (early morning and from around 3pm onwards), traffic is queued from the roundabouts at the end of Haddricks Mill Road to the traffic lights junction at Moorfield/Jesmond Dene Road. The problem has been significantly worse since the closure of Castles Farm Road bridge, which now forces thousands of cars to detour via the roundabouts. The congestion is accompanied by increased pollution levels from stop/start traffic and vibrations from buses and HGV's. A disastrous planning decision.

Restricted road width due to non-residents parking on both sides of road., 15th March
Cars parked on both sides of the road severely restrict the road width making it difficult for vehicles to drive through. This is primarily caused by non-residents using the road as a car park (often to then walk to Freeman Hospital).

Racist graffiti. Can't report it on Newcastle City website as online form only accepts house addresses as location of graffiti.

Floodlights on 24/7 - wasted energy, 8th July
Both multi-story car parks above and behind Regent Centre terminus have top floor floodlights on 24/7. Waste of energy and money. Anyone doing anything about it?

Over flowing bins, 23rd February
Nuns Moor Central. All bins are over flowing and dog walkers are leaving poo bags on top of bins. Children seen picking these up and throwing them around. Litter getting blown by wind across the moor.

Badly executed repairs to drain covers, risk to cyclists, 22nd January
On the southbound side of the B1318, approx 80 metres north of Blue House roundabout, three drain covers have been patched many times by filling the holes with tarmac. Buses travel over these drain covers and quickly wear away the tarmac. The holes surrounding the drains are approx 15 cm deep, which endangers cyclists using this lane. To make an effective repair, the drain covers need to be raised to road level, and a finish applied which will be safer and longer lasting (not tarmac).
