This bad piece of road has been getting worse for 13 years now. Every winter the ice makes it worse. There is a heavy traffic flow as the shops are round the corner, a well used church and a school are all in the vicinity. I have reported this to South Tyneside Council but nothing has been done

4 way traffic, 5th December
Northern gas has a 4 way traffic light system with all signs stating 4 way traffic lights, however they only have 3 sets of traffic lights so one of the junctions is told to just wait for a light that doesnt exist.

Dangerous parking, 29th November
Inconsiderate parking makes this permanently a dangerous junction. Cars parking on Sunniside Drive too close to the junction, and cars parking illegally, on Sunderland Road opposite the junction, force drivers from both directions into the middle of the road. Drivers often have to brake during turning, sometimes even needing to reverse onto the main road.
We have had, and seen, many near misses.
Currently there are temporary traffic lights, and many cars are parked directly in front of them! There were cones out at one point but these have now dissappeared. Drivers have no idea where to stop, and this is even more dangerous with pedestrians currently having to walk in the road.
The inconsiderate parkers are the same cars, every day, and over every night, both during the week, and at weekends. They are not temporary visitors, nor parking to get the bus.
Double yellow lines are needed, on both sides, as far as Sunnilaws. (Disabled spot excluded - this causes no problem when no-one is parked opposite).

Terrible cycle path., 21st September
The pathway between the Grotto and Souter lighthouse is horrible . worse than the pedestrian side. This is really bad to ride along considering the amount of people that use it. It's neglected and the cycle lane is even worse. It's like the council have forgotten about it.

Loose Openreach/Post Office Manhole Cover, 31st January
The Openreach/Post Office Manhole cover outside of my house has become loose causing a trip hazard. Not only is this a potential dangerous trip hazard the noise it makes is an extreme nuisance. For someone who works shifts sleep is very important, and having to endure the constant banging from this cover outside of my bedroom is starting to be a strain on my mental health. For this reason I would be extremely if it could be repaired.

Sunken Manhole adjacent 89 Sunderland Rd, 31st January
This manhole cover has over the past year or sunken into the ground, as a consequence it is making my house shake very badly, I am concerned that it is possibly doing some damage to the structure, my house. Already cracks have appeared on a number of internal walls. I have also spoken to surrounding properties who are experiencing the same issue.
