Re 5923634, 2nd May

Thu, 02 May 2024 14:09:47 +0100

An update on the bizarrely reported obstruction, ref 5923634, which someone posted at 0129 on 2/5/24 for reasons best known to themselves. The property owners are aware of the issue and are in the process of getting quotes to repair the wall. It woukd be nice if faceless, nameless reporters could also understand that the little darlings who go to Hillcrest School, often trespass on the property, remove bricks and cause risk to themselves. This too has been reported to the police and head.

Area left a mess following roadworks, 2nd May

Thu, 02 May 2024 07:21:43 +0100
55.07839 -1.566675

The area has been left a mess follow recent works. They have cleared the rubble but haven’t even attempted to re level the land before just chucking handfuls of grass seed on it. The seed is in clumps and hasn’t been spread. This is a prominent area beside the roundabout for the hospital so should have been left in the same condition it was in before the works. Can’t believe the utilities company can get away with this.

Urgent -Dangerous loose brickworks and metal railings on cut through., 2nd May

Thu, 02 May 2024 01:29:36 +0100
55.086317 -1.581769

The cut through footpath near to East Farm Terrace from The Village needs to be closed off immediately. The path is used to Hillcrest School by children. The bricks on the house adjoining the lane are loose and dangerous. Due to their height above 1metre high they are a danger to passing children and bricks have fallen on the footpath already. The property owners need to be legally advised their property is causing a danger and breaching planning regulations due to the serious nature of the property. With this path so close to the school it is an immediate safety issue. The school need to be advised to warn all children of the danger. My daughter was nearly injured due to loose bricks falling on to the public footpath today the 1st May. The three word location is yourself following they. Please act urgently on this matter before any child is injured or even killed, I am writing to the school and warning other parents on the immediate danger. Clearly the railing is also loose and needs urgent inspection and safety barriers installed to protect the public and school children. Please publish your emergency number and I will pass this to the School Head due to the serious danger in the area. Thank you.

Caught 2 kids around the car today with a lighter in hand. Then when I took the dog for a walk later on, the same kids were throwing stones and breaking the windows a empty property in Lockerbie road. It's only a matter of time when this goes up in flames and burns people's property.

Trees causing damage to property and safety issues to child, 1st May

Wed, 01 May 2024 20:46:08 +0100
55.093539 -1.581945

These trees (to the left of the back garden) are causing damage to our garden. Branches have fell off into the garden, which resulted in our 11 month old tripping over them. They are starting to overhang into our garden, resulting in branches, leaves, and bird fouling continuing to land in the garden. We have recently just spent a lot of money on the garden and the debris is causing the decking and furniture to get ruined. I am also worried as it is leading to lots of bird fouling within the garden and we have a 11 month old therefore is a safety risk due to the increased risk of contacting an illness such as campylobacter which is carried in bird feaces. This happened last year as well but is more of an issue now we have our son.
