Cars parked here on a daily basis especially on a morning and later in the day. They are parked on a double yellows and right up to the junction. This then creates a problem for cars trying to exit or enter the junction. People crossing the road sometimes find it difficult to do so due to the cars parking blocking the path.

Large stretch of path broken and loose, 6th August
Please can someone review the pathe outside 15 waskerley close Sunniside. Damage is recwnt as we walk past every night. Approx 10 paving stones smashed and loose.

Flashing streetlight, 8th July
The street light is flashing and causing my house burglar alarm to activate. The light is located at the bottom of the garage blocks right next to the rear of 20 and 29 Dunnock Drive. This has been an issue for several weeks.

New loose road surface has ruined paint on my new car. I live off this road so have to use it, 14th April
A new road surface has been laid in the last 12 months on Batavia Lane and it is a discrace. It is basically loose gravel and even at 20mph has violently flicked thousands of stones into my wheels arches for months and has caused a lot of damage to the paint on my expensive new car. It will need fresh paint work to rectify the damage as it has devalued my car. The road also need to be resurfaced correctly rather than cheaply. Thank you Mark

Frequent flooding by Borough of Gateshead sign, 10th March
The left hand side of the road (heading north into Sunniside) frequently floods when raining, due to a lack of (or poor) drainage. I've frequently seen cars having to swerve around the water at 50-60mph, into oncoming traffic.

Static Caravan parked in the entrance of the street, 7th November
We have very bad parking as it is trying to gain access to Glamis Terrace in Marleyhill fromthe main road, many people access the back street through the centre connecting the main road to the back road. Someone has parked their static caravan near the entrance causing people to break hard as you are unable to see that it is there until you pull off the main road, this is also covering 3 potential parking spaces which is now making other people clutter the road with their cars as many people don't actually have any drives. The reason i have reported this is by the looks of this, the owner doesn't see a problem with keeping this there for a long time, however a lot of neighbours have complained.

12 inch pothole on the junction of Starling Walk & A692, 23rd February
For the past 3 to 4 months a series of potholes which are deteriorating rapidly to the entrance/exit of Sunhill old peoples home which is causing considerable concern and discomfort to residents and visitors and causing a danger to pedestrians.

One particular car has been parked opposite our drive on double yellows and footpath for two days. Pedestrians forced to use road and cars struggling to pass by. We're also having issues parking on our own drive

Illegal motorbikes, 18th July
Several times a week illegal motorbikes are speeding around the land surrounding the former pit. This land is used by walkers, children & horseriders. It is extremely dangerous as they suddenly appear. Several times I have been forced into hedges & my dogs,on their leashes nearly ran over. Also many of these bikes are not road legal but will have come to the area via public roads. The police have been called several times to the area, but seem to do little other than chat to them. No doubt there will be something done when there is a serious accident. There is a sign which clearly states that motorbikes are forbidden but it routinely ignored including by parents bringing children under the age of 10 who encourage them to go faster up & down the main track. The misuse of the land has been going on for several years but has worsened in the last few weeks

Down the bank next to the river from the corner of Causey Arch car park, 12th February
Rubbish mainly old sofas and beds, numerous items flytipped from the far corner of Causey Arch carpark (in the corner opposite the archway that exits onto the main road). Also chairs in the river itself. There is an access track, part of the footpath with tyre tracks from a van or truck, where the rubbish has been deposited from.
