Faded Sign, 8th February
As you exit the A1 North Bound, these pair of signs are the only signed indicator of a speed change from a 50 to a 30. The sign here is soo faded, it is barely readable and to compound the issue, no further signs are present as you progress along the route towards MetroCentre.

The 540 Yards has falling all the way to the bottom of sign post! FIX NOW!, 31st July

All the road markings are hard to see in lane 2 its just say Y because cars drives over the road markings and there just all faded away and nobody can see the road markings of Any Veh x2 and No Hgvs

Traffic lights facing wrong way hollinside rd A1 bridge towards swalwell, 14th July
Three sets of traffic lights. The set in front of the stop line is turned and is difficult to see those changing alongside if at line. Watched van with trailer sit through green light and pulled away when on red, presumably looking at next lights further ahead which changed green. For visitors to MetroCentre not familiar with those lights, is accident waiting to happen. Been like that a few weeks. What three words location: motel.gained.alert

Diversion, 26th April
Was the overnight diversion 25th to 26th really necessary from the West of Newcastle almost to South Shields for the A1 south? A simple journey from the airport to Durham became a ridiculous odyssey of needlessly wasted time and fuel.
