Blocked drain, 10th April
This is possibly the second or third time I have reported the drainage issue which is causing large amounts of water to pour onto the B6318. The water is causing cars to aquaplane and I have seen one vehicle mount the adjacent pavement. There are schoolchildren using this pavement on a daily basis. I will make sure I have a copy of my correspondence to yourselves this year , last year and possibly the year prior so if in the event of a catastrophic accident we can hold Northumberland County Council to account. Regards, David Crichton, Harlow Hill

Numerous large potholes along the road., 26th March
The pothole situation is getting worse along this road. Some potholes are up to two feet in length and a few inches deep, whilst other areas of the road are covered in lots of smaller ones all close together. There is also a few channels as well near the waterworks. The length is from one end to the other, about two miles. This has been going on and getting worse, particularly the last six months but it has been ongoing since I have known for about four plus years. Thanking you for considering looking into this matter

Pothole in drive unacceptable and dangerous, 24th February
Our daughter travelled to see us one being this week and due puddles in the road she didn’t see one of the potholes and has a burst tyre and damaged wheel which is going to cost around £ 250 to replace and repair. Could we please ask that the highways department attends to the road as soon as possible before someone has a more serious accident. Thank you.

Multiple Potholes, 20th February
The potholes on our drive are simply unacceptable. For years we have had attempts at repair using the patching method, this generally deteriorates within weeks and then we are back to the situation we are in again now.
With the right machinery, material and a crew of men a "proper" job could be done in a day and the problem would disappear. Please could the Council send someone out to assess the situation for the residents as soon as possible. Thank you.

Numerous potholes and uneven road, 14th February
Numerous large potholes along this road from B6309 until the private Richmond Hill Road Entrance. Uneven road surface causing damage to cars. This issue is becoming a real hazard for all vehicles using this road frequently. Numerous poor attempts have been made in the past to repair the holes but they are back very quickly after. I currently have damage to my vehicle with a broken suspension spring. This is the second issue that i am told has been caused by driving on uneven and potholed roads.

Several large,dangerous potholes, 10th February
Several deep potholes which can’t be avoided as there are so many. As it is a narrow road there is no way to avoid if there is oncoming traffic. Serious flooding also in this area due to water having no where to go which results in previously “patched up” potholes reappearing.

Harlow Hill on the military road. Opposite Orion bank. The light is hanging by its wire. It is crashing against the supporting structure. In these high winds it will eventually smash and will leave an exposed live wire. This has happened before. This light is directly over a public footpath adjoining the main road. This is potentially a very dangerous situation.
