As above. Water is half the width of the carriageway causing cars to drive in the middle of the road and causing flooding over the majority of the carriageway at the foot of the hill.

Flooding in the dip, 28th October
Around 12:15 am 28th October drove through the flood which I didn’t know the depth of due to the darkness. This tore the bottom of my car off. I stopped and moved the plastic debris to the side of the road. I went back this morning at 7am to collect it but it was gone.

Large pothole, 11th November
Going from Dinnington to Berwick hill, this large pothole nearly snapped my spring. It was filled with water, so caught me off guard. I have normally avoided it, so unsure how long it has been this bad.

The road has just been resurfaced but the drains/manholes have been fitted the wrong way so cycle wheels can fall down and cause injury or worse if a car is coming.

Grass cutting is becoming a joke again this year.if they don't cut it soon in the village they will need a combine harvester and a baler., 30th May
I would like to know what the criteria for cutting grass is this year and the time scales.other councils i.e. Northumberland and Tyneside seem to manage more frequently....

3 feet long. 6 inch deep pothole, 17th March
I have been avoiding this pothole for weeks.. It is a risk to tyres, wheels and forces vehicles to swerve towards oncoming traffic. It is on the south side of the road, 30 yards before the C class road which goes to Dinnington.

Throughout the WHOLE length of Main Road in Dinnington the road is covered in potholes . Not only is it reducing the life of tyres on vehicles ( myself two in last 4 months ) but there is debris from these holes being thrown up onto the paths and hitting vehicles moving and parked near the road ., 10th January
The road has been continuously getting worse since the start of building of new houses within the village , but also previously filled holes aren't staying filled !! Will forward some photos probably before someone is out to assess the problem .

A Large pile of rubish and old matresses are rotting in the corner of the garden and I now have rats in my outhouse, 4th August

The large (mainly white and black) Newcastle upon Tyne DINNINGTON sign illegally ***graffitied ***with scrawl. Looks like either paint or marker pen. A eyesore to locals, everyone and particularly Airport Tourists arriving.

Grass cutting is a joke again this year and isnt done frequently enough and leaves the place looking a mess., 6th June

Tree roots on pavement coming out of my drive, 14th September
There is a tree just outside my property The roots are now showing through my driveway and it has sunk very badly in a lot of places which is now a concern for my young daughter and my wife carrying the baby. I reported this 5 weeks ago and still await a response
