Pothole under standing water, 10th December
The road has been badly tarmac (small strip across the middle) leaving the edge of the road to start to corrode. This has led to a large and very deep pothole. When driving through it yesterday my car hit the pothole which was submerged by water due to standing water on the road and flooding (due to poor drainage and heavy rainfall) causing server damage to my car. This left me and my 7 month old stranded for over 2 hours at the side of the road in a highly dangerous place with high speed vehicles coming past. During this time it’s continuous rained, causing me and my 7 month old to become saturated whilst waiting for help to fix the car. During this time I witnessed multiple people doing the same as me hitting this pothole causing their cars to make clucking noises. Following this I went to our local village Facebook page and found multiple people have had the same issues and also reported these issues. The council was said to have dealt with the issue last week by placing a light plastic orange over the hole… which isn’t a suitable measure with the weather conditions or rain and wind. My car has had to put the space saver tyre on for now until I have the funds to buy a new tyre, and is also in need to be seen by a garage to check the underneath and chassis of the car.

Park on grass next to my drive and then use my drive to go back to road, 9th December
The soho restaurant customer park their car on left and right and opposite my drive and on grass next to my drive, so we can go out of our drive because we can’t see the road clearly few times we nearly had accidents and our kids were in the car

Potholes at least 15cm deep, 11th May
Potholes at least 15cm deep which cause the car to jolt violently when going over then and unavoidable if there is oncoming traffic (which is common on this road). Needs to be fixed asap.
Coming from moor mill lane heading towards Ouston it is over the hill and just before the first bend in the road.

Fly tipping, 11th April
Numerous tyres on the grass verge between Kibblesworth junction and Sunniside. Randomly chucked on the bethe, both sides.
Parish Council have queried using cctv. Perhaps the council will do something about it as its a common occurrence

Woods are a mess., 21st March
Camp site left with rubbish strewn everywhere. The woods are also a mess in general where mountain bikers have cut tracks into the woods and hurtling over public footpaths. There is also rubbish along there cycle paths.

5inch pothole, 7th January
Pothole on the left hand side of road (if driving from Ouston towards moor mill lane). Roughly 5-8inches in diameter. Was repaired about 1 year 6 months ago but has returned and been persistent for about 5 months and it gets worse by the week.
