This hole has been here for around 2 month now and i hit it in dark last night in snow shower around 11pm i nearly lost control of my van it burst the side wall of tyre i spent the next 2 hours in the dark tyring to jack up and replace the wheel and had to take time off work this morning to try sort this out and get a replacement tyre. this pot hole and many like it are on the candermill marlage road the only road i can use to drive to my home at ML93DJ

The southbound carriageway has a number of large potholes in a half mile stretch at this location.

Massive pot hole, 25th May
At canderside roundabout the exit to go off for the back road to blackwood there's a huge pot hole that you can't miss, it's been there for well over 6months now maybe longer.

Road subsidence / gouged road track, 14th December
There is a type of subsidence/hollow on the part of the road just coming off the roundabout just as you take to the Blackwood road which is getting deeper, there has been a poor attempt to fill this up already, but it its getting worse. Also at the "same location" but coming from Blackwood there is a large gouge on the road about 15 - 20 feet long, which if you don`t know its there your steering wanders of along the gouged track, this has been like this for over a year and could end up being the cause of a accident.

Flooding, 2nd October
This section of road floods every time there is heavy rain. The water cannot escape due to the high grass verges on both sides of the road. Two years ago, SLC cut channels in the verges down to road level thus allowing the water to flow into the fields. It needs to be done again before the low temperatures return and freezing occurs. The current situation is not acceptable and is an accident waiting to happen. SLC are aware of the problem but placing a flood sign on the verge is not good enough.

Abandoned caravan, 17th September
Old caravan abandoned in road , been there for a few days its all smashed up and is an eyesore which if not removed it will probably be burned at the moment it is towable as the wheels are on an d up it has a tow hitch so it should be an easy sort
