Dangerous pothole, 24th January
My van hit pothole causing my tyre to burst as well as other damage. A few other vehicles also hit the same hole and their tyres also burst around the same time as myself. Luckily I had a spare tyre although the other newer vehicles had to wait on recovery as they never had spares. Due to where the pothole is, there's no place to pull in so the nearest was the petrol station at the top of the hill. Really needs filled as a priority.

Huge Pothole on the road, 9th January
Just noticed this huge Pothole today very luck I never hit it , it would have severely damaged my wheels .

This area of land is up for sale after being abandoned for decades. There are some magnificent trees growing away here and I would hate for them to be chopped down. As they support birds, mammals and bats. Could I request for a preservation order be put on trees ? To protect them and allow them to continue emproving our environment at what is near a very busy road., 11th July
Seems this whole area is up for grabs. I would like North Lanarkshire Council to protect the trees with a Tree protection order.

Potholes, 29th August
The potholes in this road are getting worse. Traffic goes on the wrong side of the road to avoid the potholes, which is especially dangerous given the corners and lack of visibility.

Ashgillhead Rd from Tinto Rd to Bartie Gdns needs resurfaced, 22nd May
The surface is a bumpy mess of potholes and sunken trenches. Driving over it feels like a farm track. This is a busy road with a 1/2 hour bus service both ways and the main road between Larkhall and Netherburn. Recently, less important, dead end side roads have been resurfaced,I cannot see the reason for this when Ashgillhead road is in such a poor state.I have lived here more than 10 years and it has not been resurfaced.

Stewart Gill Bridge layby, 14th March
Stewart Gill is a disgrace, and is full of old household refuse, bits of cars and general rubbish from motorists. The latter might be alleviated a little by installing a bin - all the other laybys on the Clyde Valley have bins.

Road subsiding and uneven, 8th February
Road has deep ruts and appears to subsiding. This is getting worse and is dangerous for passing traffic. Some cones have been at the road edge for a number of months. I don't know if this is related.

Road Subsidence, 25th January
Brownlee Road - Over the last 6 months this section of road for approx 100m is being progessively undermined by water producing dangerous uneven top surface. This results in erratic driving to avoid the deep undulations with possible consequences!

Rubbish being dumped illegally, 17th May
Just seen a lorry with two men illegally dumping rubbish and building waste in the corner of the car park at the rear of Rorrison Church in Ashgill. Lorry registration Ke51pvw.
