Worse going northboard, very dangerous as it is blind going round the corner, when you hit the bump you will completely lose friction with the road and on the second turn people frequently spin out. Been several incidents around there recently.

Exposed concrete drain cover at edge of road, 16th May
Southbound immdiately before brow of bridge over dismantled railway, the roadside edge is crumbling and there is a large concrete drain cover at an acute angle with a sharp edge standing approx 5cm proud which punctured two tyres when I had to avoid an oncoming vehicle which was quite wide coming over the blind brow around the blind corner. There are no warning signs of any type. What three words location are explains.encounter.intention just north of the problem.

Street light broken, 6th December
Street light doesn’t come on when it gets dark. All the rest of the lights in the street work fine. The sensor is missing from the top of the light, (the others in the street have this sensor).

Open electricity box, 5th November
On the public green area there is a small electricity box. Some time ago someone revers a car into it and it's open now. We have a lot of smal children around and it s a hazard for them and others.

Road floods when it rains, 1st November
The picture doesn’t do this any justice, however under any type of rainfall the road floods on this corner (central Avenue and bells close). Whilst this isn’t an immediate issue to the local racing drivers who think it’s great to soak unexpecting locals it’s starting to cause damage to the drive way and property nearing this location. I’m pretty new to the area however all of the neighbours have said there was a drain on this corner which was covered up and never re-instated once the road bumps were installed some years ago. Please can this get looked into.

Parking right on a junction, 27th September
Parking on a junction. There is a sharp left bend before this junction. Residents from Harrows Close have trouble joining the main road There are vehicles parked from the bend right up to the junction Cars from Harrows Close have to edge out behind parked cars which are parked on the High Road This has been going on for months

Obstructing view on highway, 6th September

Overgrown verge, 20th July
The verges along Southill Road are overgrown and blocking the pavement in places which means walking on the road, this road is a country road and although it is supposed to be 30 mph people rarely stick to the speed limit, so it’s not ideal having to walk on the road because the pavement is blocked, particularly when pushing a pushchair. Poor visibility, 19th July
Can you please look into the poor visibility when coming out of Harrows Close, Cotton End, Bedford onto the High Road. Please note whilst there is only a van and truck showing in this picture, there are quite often more vehicles parked long this stretch of road which makes visibility very difficult when coming out of Harrows Close, particularly when vans/trucks and lorries are parked up (they often park on the pavement making it difficult to navigate with a pushchair). Please visit either in the evening or at the weekend to see it at its worst. Cars parked on the pavement right up to the corner and into Harrows Close mean pedestrians have to walk on the road. Please acknowledge receipt of this email and confirm what action will be taken.

Restricted visibility, 19th July
Vans, cars and trucks parking on the High Road near Harrow Court are causing visibility issues when exiting Harrows Close. They also park on the pavements which make it difficult for pushchairs. I have already reported this as my son in law had an accident when exiting Harrows Close due to poor visibility, but haven’t received a response. Could someone get back to me please on what action is being taken.

Fly tipping in Southill Road, Cardington, 7th July

Must have happened between lunchtime on 5.7.21 and 6.45pm on 7.7.21.
There are big shards of glass amongst the rubbish which are very close to the road.

45cm pothole, 6th July
This pothole has been here for about 12 months and is getting bigger. The road is less than normal size and people park half on and off the road, so passing traffic are constantly passing over the pothole making it bigger. Please can you fix it . Stirling road shortstown
