Parking of vehicles on road suspected of being sold from residential address, 11th September
At 09:25hrs 11/09/2021, three people were standing at the bottom end of Leyside next to a white Ford car (registration noted). Three appeared to be a family (adult man (light blue t-shirt and jeans, short dark hair) and woman (white spotty top and shorts, shoulder length blonde hair) – both approx.. 50+yrs, and adult woman (white top, light cardigan, salmon trousers, past shoulder length blonde hair) approx 20+ yrs) and another was an adult man (25+yrs) wearing a mask. All appeared to be in discussion and inspecting the car. At approximately 09:30hrs the white car was moved and returned to the same spot at approximately 09:45hrs. Further examination of the car continued followed by numerous calls on mobile phones and at approximately 09:55hrs there appeared to be a transaction of a folder being passed from the young man to the other three. At 10:29hrs, after more mobile use, the white car was driven away by the older man and a dark Ford (registration noted) was driven away by the two women. I believe that it is reasonable to suspect that this car, linked to a nearby address on Leyside, was sold by the young man to the other three persons as will other vehicles linked to the address. For many months, numerous vehicles linked to the Leyside address, have completely filled their off-road parking and often parked on Leyside, and sometimes Webbs Close. At present, another vehicle (details recorded), which was on the drive of the Leyside address, and one of two almost identical vehicles, has been parked at the end of Leyside for the best part of a week. At times there have been in excess of ten vehicles packed on the off-road parking of the Leyside address with additional vehicles parked blocking the pavement outside the Leyside address. I have reported this online to Bedford Borough Council, as blocking the pavement makes it difficult for those with mobility issues to walk along the pavement. However, to date I have not received an acknowledgment of this.
