Large fridge left on riverbank, 5th March
It’s been here for months. Since before Christmas of 2023. It’s in the river which is likely causing damage to the water and local wildlife.

Missing no entry sign, 29th January
There has been a temporary no entry sign at this location since a fatal accident in 2022. The sign is causing a obstruction and requires a permanent replacement asap.

Rubbish logic at traffic lights, always green for tiny retail park, 26th January
Every single morning during the rush hour into Bedford the lights here are always defaulted to red for the main road and green for traffic exiting the tiny little area to the west.
This causes traffic to back up all the way into the A421 roundabout because it’s often 30+ seconds (with 0 vehicles going past the green) that they’re like this. This needs to be changed so the greens are default on the main road.
This morning at 4am they were even green for the retail park, and I sat at the red light for half a minute even though the retail area is closed and there are no vehicles there. I now understand why people run these red lights on a daily basis, as if you get caught at the red here you will get to the next junction nearer Bedford just as your green turns red.

Graffiti on exit countdown marker, A421 E/A600 jct, 7th January
There is graffiti on the 300 yard countdown marker for the junction for the A600 from the A421 eastbound on the outskirts of Bedford. I believe it has been there for some time.
It has the initials DSC.

The car has not moved in over two weeks .when pulling out of drive obstructs vision of cars coming out of drive .always with wheelchair have to walk into road to access pavement

Traffic flow, 10th October
At the junction of Britannia Road and Kempston Road the traffic light flow needs adjusting. Currently traffic coming from Britannia Road has a very short allocation and the traffic lights at the Prebend junction are in sync with the Kempston Road lights. As a result of this, all of the cars from Kempston road make their way on to the bridge and as a result it took me 15minutes to get from King's Place car park to Prebend Street at 19:00 on 10/10/23 as only 1 or 2 cars can safely go across the junction, this is unacceptable. Throughout the entire day there are queues over this bridge and it is beyond ridiculous now and something needs to be done to address this issue. The environmental impact of all of these stationary cars is horrific.

Near lamp post outside 21, 6th October
Been there for over a month getting deeper as lots of lorries use this road the drain corners are very exposed, also damaged my suspension needs fixing asap before a lorry ends up crashing into the house !

On 16/9/23, I noticed that a street light by the crossing on the entry slip road to the westbound A421 was on during the daytime.
