The road here is in a dangerous state. Lots of potholes and crumbling road which has been like this for some time. It is on a bend which is frequented by hs2 vehicles and is really only passable at very slow speeds in the middle of the road. Has got worse week by week. A few poorly places spadefuls of tarmac has done nothing.

Road surface across both sides of road extremely damaged. This was reported about 2 months ago and still not repaired. Busy road with many hs2 lorries making it worse

The road is getting more dangerous by the day. Potholes across the whole of the road which are getting even more crater like. This has been reported previously and is still an issue. Please fix before there is an accident.

Road surface completely gone. Very rough surface left. Previous patching has been surrounded by holes. Vehicles jolted all over the carriageway even when driving slowly.

Buckingham Road/Leonard’s Close hedge overhanging road., 17th April
Despite an update saying that this issue would be fixed back in January, it still hasn’t been done, New growth is now forming on the branches making the hedge hang even further out over the road. The hedge needs cutting back severely as each year it is just getting wider and hanging out over the road. It is an extremely busy road, especially dangerous as it is an approved haul route for HS2 HGVs, plus thousands of other cars daily using it as a cut through from Buckingham routes to the A41. There are many feeder roads from villages along the way as well. Please can this be cut back as a matter of urgency as the vision splays are very dangerous from the houses on the same side of the road as the hedge. My previous report in January. “This hedge has been reported many times. It hasn't been cut for at least 2 years and over hangs the road making visibility from the driveways of the houses on that side of the road dangerous. From my driveway I need to have my vehicle halfway across the road in order to be able to see to the left. This is dangerous due to the speed, size and excessive numbers of vehicles along this stretch of road, mostly exceeding the limit. This is an HS2 haul route and two lorries cannot pass without one having to give way, which often causes confusion for vehicles behind the lorries.”

Complaint about workmen, 10th April
It doesn't appear that the company undertaking the work has any street-works qualified personnel and I am concerned about the safety and quality of the workmanship.

Dark Ages 3rd world road surface, 9th April
Explain what's wrong ? .... hahaha where do I start ?- the road from Edgcott to Calvert Green especially is in a truly shocking shameful dangerous condition.....beyond my comprehension 2024 that we are forced to drive on effectively a battered destroyed shanty town track OR is the standard of the road matched by the county council standards these days. Laughable given what they thieve in council tax.

Failed Road Surface, 2nd April
Multiple people have reported this section of road over the last 2 months, yet all the reports get closed saying either duplicate report or a job has been raised, but there is no difference in the appalling state of the road, at the bottom of a hill, adjacent to a junction and also on a bend. Given the high volume of traffic due to HS2 could somebody confirm when this road that is extremely dangerous for cyclist and motorcyclists and causes road users to take avoiding action, though that is getting harder as the road deteriorates. Could you please confirm when this road will be resurfaced, and how we track that job as there are never any references to scheduled jobs provided in the reply.

There is a BT concrete inspection cover that has been dislodged with damage to the supporting metal frame. It’s probably been caused by HGV’s cutting the corner. In it’s current state it’s a potential trip hazard

Cushion dumped on gravel path, 24th March
Reported two cushions in the ditch a few weeks ago. One cushion has disappeared but the other has now moved to the side of the road on the gravel path.
