Opposite the turning to Platinum Close, 16th April
Potholes have been fixed, however 4 large signs have been thrown at the side of the road after the works have finished and have been dumped on the grass verge. There are a further 3 signs at the West St end of North End Road - 1 sign for Failed road surface (surface not failed) and 2 x 'Slow' signs. Please can all 7 signs be removed asap

Large white van has been abandoned there since Saturday morning. Not in a great location to be dumped there.

Japanese knot weed, 14th April
On my way into Steeple Claydon from Padbury there is some Japanese Knot Weed and if this gets strimmed or cut it will spread and it T is an invasive species

Failed road surface for about 60 yards in each direction from this T junction., 9th April
Total road surface suffering from surface being uneven and large cracks showing that it has had very heavily laden and wide vehicles passing over it. The verges are all indistinguishable and hide large puddles and potholes.

Failed road surface, 8th April
The section of road between rectory farm and the junction (heading away from Steeple Claydon) is failed. It is impossible to drive over it at more than 20mph, without risking damaging your vehicle. Cars are having to drive in middle of road to avoid the worst parts, causing a risk of collision with vehicles pulling out of the junction or coming around the corner from Middle Claydon.
This road is a main road out of Steeple Claydon, especially with other routes out of the village being closed by HS2 works.

On the sharp bend on Claydon Hill/Sandhill Road MK18 2EN, 7th April
This bend has been permanently flooded now for several weeks. I suspect that heavy lorry usage over last year by EWR lorries have damaged the drain under the road. 2 lorries have over-turned on this bend which may have further damaged the drainage at this point. The lorry which recently over-turned may well have been caused by driving too close to the edge of the road, because of the flooding issue.

Poor drainage and light flooding, 7th April
There is poor drainage on the corner of North End Road which can cause light flooding and pools of water on the road which can be dangerous for driver’s. The flooding is causing the road service to break down. The drain near the corner needs clearing and an additional drain clearly needs adding. Otherwise, the potholes will get worse.

A few bad pot holes, 7th April
There are a few bad deep potholes on this road after the corner and by the T juncture with Platinum Close. The potholes have been there for while but are getting worse and deep. I drove over one of the pothole’s today and it made a scraping noise to my car. It is hard to avoid the potholes due to their positions and people are going to damage their cars if they are not filled in ASAP. The potholes seem to have been caused by the poor drainage on the road which should also be fixed.

Pothole that you can’t see till it’s too late when driving in the dark, 30th March
A little before the turning to Hill Cottage Farm there is a deep pothole that your not able to see until it’s too late which caused our tyre to blow out.

Sandhill EWR Bridge, 22nd March
Having checked with you and EWR previously, it would appear that neither organisation takes responsibility for the unnecessary traffic lights on the bridge. Who is paying for them and why ? I believe the existing white lining needs re- aligning and the verges reinstating properly, with a channel cut in the grass bank on Sandhill side of the bridge to stop water collecting following rain. Whilst this bridge should have been re-instated as a two carriage one, and both organisations got it wrong , please liase with EWR at the earliest opportunity to complete the job and take the lights away please.
