29 Primrose Way - FixMyStreet ref. 4646238 - overhanging tree, 4th May
This is to reference FixMyStreet ref. 4646238 which was logged on 8th June 2023 and still has not been attended.
The branches hang over mine and the neighbours back garden which not only blocks out a lot of sunlight but also sheds lots of leaves in to our back garden which we work hard on maintaining. The amount of leaves that fall from this tree means that we are unable to enjoy our space as we should as we have to constantly clear the surface. Although we can from time to time clear the leaves, these still pose a threat to ruin the aesthetics of our garden. We have recently resurfaced the garden with decorative gravel so if this issue is not attended to, we are going to have issues with the gravel becoming stained and the leaves sinking to the bottom which cause sludge throughout. It is not possible to keep every leaf cleared so frequently at the rate at which these drop and the shear volume of leaves that fall from this ever expanding ash tree. Moreover the branches are getting closer to the house which will be an even bigger issue. This tree requires regular maintenance by tree surgeons. Simon Scullion is aware of this issue since I emailed him about this on 17th September 2023. Simon advised me at the time that he had raised the works to be attended to however the date for attendance to this matter kept being moved back. I request this to now be escalated and for direct contact to be made to myself with a planned date of attendance as soon as possible.

Failed drain repair O/S #20, 3rd May
Failed drain repair is causing significant issues - people parking near the signs cause narrowing so severe that collisions are occurring (one happened last night). Can the parking areas around the drain be coned off to prevent parking and ensure the carriageway remains open enough for vehicles to pass safely.

There is mud on Osier Way which is now impinging on the Embleton Way roundabout. This has the potential to9 get very slippery and make the road surface dangerous withh the possibility of skidding vehicles.

The kerb was fixed a couple of weeks ago and has yet again come loose and is dipping in road, bearing in mind this is a narrow part of the road coming off a busy junction.

Their are 2 signs asking drivers to go on thee other side of the drain that was not repaired properly The tarmac is breaking up and needs to be repaired urgently bwfore their is an accident!! This is an issues for the last 4 weeks so needs to be dealt with urgently!!

Lenborough road is a no through road is it possible to have a sign put up?? We did have one but the council removed it WHY??, 1st May
Going up to Lenborough Road their is no signage to say its a NO THROUGH ROAD!! Could this please be rectified. Also a speed limit sign for Mitre street or a one way system may be useful, as this is a narrow street please!! ?? Thank you. These are both important issues.

Emergency repair failure, 30th April
This repair has failed. Emergency team came out and put these signs. Twice today people have driven so fast through them and now my house is damaged. This is DANGEROUS. The road is too fast it needs traffic lights. It needs to be FIXED.

Outside 20 Mitre Street - road surface , 30th April
The road surface around the recently repaired drain has moved and become loose as a whole this needs to be repaired urgently as this is causing serious issues, this has resulted in damage being caused to number 20's wall due to the signs being moved out of the way by motorists hitting into them.

Verges around Mount Pleasant, 29th April
Since BC assumes responsibility for maintenance of verge around Mount Pleasant from Buckingham TC, the quality of the verge has declined significantly; the lack of cutting has led to an increase in littering and dog waste. Can the dates for upcoming cuttings please be provided.

SWD grate O/S #20, 29th April
Grate appears to have been repaired, though signs and cones have been left in the road. This is causing frequent minor accidents due to narrowing of an already narrow road. Can the site please be inspected and signs removed if appropriate to minimise this issue.

I reported this last November and it was to added to a list but remains an issue still but my previous report was closed. The Manhole cover is loose and clangs really loudly all day and night and can be heard a few streets away all day and night
