Park Road - Milton Bryan/Toddington boundary, 3rd March
I have reported this issue several times previously, 395916. The culvert on the north side of the road is obstructed, so in heavy rain the water flows over the road. The flow has eroded the highway verge and will soon undermine the footpath bridge. The ditches on both sides need clearing of debris and rubbish.

The Gated Rd to Battlesden, 7th January
There are numerous potholes which have recently been tried to be fixed but unfortunately with all the rain we have had they are very quickly returning. The road is falling away at the sides in places and the passing points in the gateways are in a bad state too.

9/11/23 5pm. I now have a knocking sound coming from the front left of my car after driving over this pothole. I had to keep to the left as traffic was coming from opposite direction. Can someone please tell me who is going to pay for the repair !?? If I can get it to the garage before the wheel falls off.

Reddings Hill, between Milton Bryan and Eversholt, 19th October
This is not strictly a road surface issue, but is the best category for this problem. Ben Callender has advised the Milton Bryan village meeting Chair that we should use FixMyStreet to apply for a revision to the gritting run for icy weather. The hill between from Milton Bryan to Eversholt (known as Reddings Hill) is the scene of regular accidents when vehicles go out of control down the steep hill into the railings on the corner. Icy weather of course makes this worse. There are also a number of school buses that use this route. Based on general safety and children’s safety we believe there is a strong case for this hill to be included on the gritting run. More information can be provided as you consider this initial outline request. Beyond the issue of icy weather the high number of accidents at this location should be taken into account in examining improved road signs and markings.
