Road surface has deteriorated even more since having a pothole repaired/patched in late in 2023. Particular types of lorries and vehicles between 04:30 and 05:30 are causing sleep disruption and have started waking us up again.

Length of Cooks Lane, Mursley, from entrance of road to radio pylons, 10th April
I am unable to upload the 16 pictures I have taken of the potholes - essentially, the whole of Cooks Lane is badly potholed and it is now difficult to avoid any of them so people are now driving up on the verge to avoid damage. It has become muddy and slippy and it is difficult to pass dog walkers etc safely.
I am happy to provide my pictures if but the website is not allowing me to upload.

Pothole 1 of 11 on this stretch. Note previous report 5667602, scheduled on 12th March category 2H for repair within five working days - this has not been carried out. Bucks Council would now be liable for vehicles damaged on this road as the under s58 Highways Act 1980 no longer apply.

Near graveyard, 19th March
Quite deep pothole on the side of the road, just before the new surface, heading out of Swanbourne. On a bend so hard to avoid as oncoming traffic is hard to see.

Smithfield End close to junction with Station Road, 18th March
Hedges and trees from the adjoining land are very overgrown and encroaching on the highway. Half of the hedge gets cut back by a tractor every so often, but the other half gets left and has not been cut back for several years, Please can this be looked into.

Road entrance to Swanbourne House School, 15th March
The entrance to Swanbourne House School has several large pot holes in which even after the Winslow Road has been closed for the last 2+ weeks for repairs and resurfacing, have not been repaired at all. There is a lot of traffic that goes in and out of this entrance on a daily basis and it is becoming progressively worse and could cause a lot of damage to private vehicles.
