Corner of Elmer Close and Main St - Beachampton, 21st March
Overgrown culvert filled with trees, bottles and detritus. This was called through from John Gleeson from Anglian Water. Apparently the village floods frequently and this may be a route cause of the issue. Unsure whether this land is a farmers or council to report t to, but if council please could it be cleared out. Also there is a pipe which tuns under the road to the river. If this blocks from the detritus then this would be major.

Drain full of grit, 4th March
The drain at the Elmers Close end of the village is the first to receive the run off water from the fields during heavy rainfall. Recently it has been unable to cope with the volume of water, which then creates flooding along the rest of Main Street at a significant speed as there is no where for the water to drain off to. It is a sunny dry day and I have been able to see into the drain. I measured the available depth before you hit the stagnant grit and the clearance space is 49 cm. The drains were last cleared in December 2022 and I believe action to clear the drains will prevent further flooding in Main Street should we continue to see excessive rainfall
