Insufficient road markings, 9th May
Road markings at the Guildford Avenue junction before the roundabout have massively faded and desperately need repainting. Currently the priority is completely unclear to drivers unfamiliar with the road, and I have seen several near misses recently where road users at the junction have wrongly assumed they have priority and haven’t given way.

Flytipping, 6th May
Monday the 6th of May 2024 7:30am: I drove towards Buckingham on the A421, with the Whaddon lay-by on my left, as I drove past I saw 3 men stood by a tipper truck with scarp cars on the back. I could clearly see them throw rubbish and a windscreen into the hedge. I turned my vehicle around at the little Horwood junction. Then proceeded to drive into the lay-by. This spoked the 3 men and they drove off, I took pictures of their vehicle including the registration plate and the dumped windscreen. Their registration plate GN06BMV.

Muck & Dirt on Carriageway, 5th May
The centre of the carriageway is covered in dirt, dust, mud, bits of ground up pothole, and a winter’s worth of rock salt…
It creates very large cloud of dust when someone overtakes and makes it very difficult to see lane markings and ghost islands…
If you could drive a road sweeper ASAP along this road please make sure it does the centre!!!

Poorly repaired pothole already crumbled., 3rd May
Poorly repaired pothole right on the corner of the road is already failing again and becoming a pothole once more. It's right on a blind bend, and needs proper repair. Please attend to asap.

Poor condition of manhole - whole surround crumbled., 3rd May
Significant repair needed to the manhole cover outside of Whaddon CofE school. Entire surround has crumbled; cars are swerving to avoid it, it has already damaged cars and tyres, and the path is used by children. Genuinely have no idea what it'll take to get this fixed, as it's been like this for a long time. It's dangerous. Please sort asap.

Sign disintegrating - rotten wood, 18th April
Wood board holding sign rotten and sign disintegrating. It is actually located on private land to the annoyance of the resident and removal would be a good option from his point of view.

Road camber & verge damage., 17th April
Road camber is too acute, causing vehicles to half drive on verge to avoid damage, this is causing damage to the verge which is aggravating the camber problems on the carriageway surface. This required rapid remedial action to be taken to prevent further compounding of the issue.

Pot hole on LHS of road when travelling towards Buckingham, 11th April
There is a deep pot hole in line with car LHS wheels when driving up the hill towards Buckingham. Had a heavy impact with this when driving in the dark tonight approx 10.25pm. Was not visible until I heard the damage of my car wheels hitting it.

Pothole on eastbound carriageway, just as after you leave the roundabout. Other holes were repaired recently, round this area, so don't understand how this big one could have been missed

I was riding my horse when a car drove up the bridal path and dumped a load of electronics, oils and pollutants on in the hedge. This path is clearly a regular target for fly tipping and is a publically maintained path (supposedly), 1st April
(51.9814653, -0.7919574) This is the entrance to the path and the junk is about a 6 minute walk up the track and continues for about half a mile. The people in the car were shifty to our spotting them. It was a smart car with registration “HT05EWS” I guarantee if the police follow this vehicle, you will catch them as I have seen them before.

There are 2 badgers and poss a fox, may be another badger, so 3 bodies in total in a short stretch of the road leading from Bottledump Roundabout heading to Newton Longville. The are alm on the left verge .
