This is the only crossing from central Kents hill to the school primary and secondary schools site at Kent’s hill park schools. It is so dangerous with parked cars, fast driving and right by a busy junction during peak times . It is impossible at peak times to cross the road without having step into the road of traffic due to parked cars and on coming traffic: this is a tragic accident waiting to happen

3 Lane Merge To 2 Nearly Causing Accidents Daily, 19th March

Tue, 19 Mar 2024 20:51:17 +0000
52.054641 -0.711705

I travel across this roundabout away from the M1 junction everyday and I almost get hit every single time, regardless of what lane I drive in. Excluding the completely careless drivers, the road signage are very unclear to most people as to where they should end up on the otherside of the roundabout. There is 3 lanes straight with only 2 lanes and a merger on the other side. The road markings are great, but people rarely see themdue to such high traffic on this roundabout during rushhour. Most cases, the people in the left lane are completely fine as they stick to lane 1 on exit of the roundabout, lane 2 usually swerve last minute to lane 1 on the other side due to them seeing lane 3 apearing next to them, and lane 3 is just a free for all at any given point. A lovely aftermath of each occurrence is road rage from multiple people who all equally think they are right in the scenario with very few being correct. Having to drive here has made me want to get a dashcam as I have lost count how many times I've nearly been hit. Something needs to change here as there must be hundreds of occurances a day of this and I'm suprised there's not been any bad incidents yet.

Van blocking the pavement, 18th March

Mon, 18 Mar 2024 13:19:10 +0000
52.046259 -0.69058

Large commercial vehicle regularly blocking the pavement forcing people to cross the road to get past. The owner regularly parks this van over the redway & pedestrian crossing, causing a hazard for anyone trying to cross the road - I've made this report after nearly hitting a boy on a scooter who didn't see the oncoming traffic, and I didn't see him. Please sort this out urgently as someone will get injured or killed as a result of this anti-social parking.

Dangerous/Anti Social parking, 17th March

Sun, 17 Mar 2024 14:59:07 +0000
52.046282 -0.690521

A resident of Watercress Way keeps parking a massive commercial vehicle without any thoughts for anyone else. It makes leaving Harmans Cross dangerous, and I've seen a number of close calls as a result. Isn't it against the highway code to park such a massive truck on a residential area? Also, so close to a junction, it blocks the view of traffic and makes the red way very dangerous. If you are the owner and are reading this, park it in your driveway instead, you lazy sod.
