Over 2 weeks pavement still not clean of dog poo, 19th January
The pavements in Sittingbourne is a dog toilet. Dog mess reported to council 2 weeks ago, the dog poo has now spread with little children walking over it everyday, wheelchair users, cyclists, pushchair users, etc yet the council did nothing. Dogs should be banned from pavement where very young children walk everyday from school and back. Dog faeces may contain several types of microorganisms potentially pathogenic for humans. Bacteria that are pathogens for the intestinal tract and cause diarrhoea include Campylobacter, Salmonella, Yersinia and E. coli. etc,. Its heart-breaking, and very stressful to see Children shoes covered in dog poo. Irresponsible dog owners should be traced and fined heavily. Also Lots of people who cannot go out also rely on groceries being delivered, unfortunately often it get unloaded on the pavements where the dogs have been used to poo and urinate and all the germs and bacteria then transferred to peoples home. People with illness cannot be protected. People Hygiene and health are being put at risk. When will the council do something about these irresponsible dog owners? When a child fell on the dog poo, catches a severe infection and die?? Some of the pavements have never been cleaned, even weed growing through it, no wonder in uk there are so much diseases and illness affecting people, and poor quality of life. The council should protect the vulnerable, children, and keep our pavement and streets tidy and free from dog poo.. Irresponsible dog owners should be named and shamed. The council should write to every dog owner and educate them of the toxic from dog waste, the distress it causes other road users. Hazard and pollution it can cause if they don't clean up after their dog mess, also they will be fined heavily. Dog waste is an environmental pollutant and a human health hazard. The Environmental Protection Agency mentions Pet waste as very toxic. Why is the council not doing anything? The health of anyone can deteriorate causing infections, diseases, and in severe cases death. I have read that Dog faeces are one of the most common carriers of the following diseases: Whipworms, Hookworms, Roundworms, Tape worms, Parvo, Corona, Giardiasis, Salmonellosis.

Motorcaravan paked in Caple Road, 6th November
Although not illegally parked, it causes an obstruction for pedestrians when crossing the road. It is difficult to see cars coming down Caple Road at this point when exiting the park entrance. There was a 2 car accident last week on a school run morning and I feel it's only a matter of time until a child or old person is injured. The motorhome has been left here, unattended for a number of months.
