Multiple lights are not working on the London Bound A2 slip road, 16th April
Around 90% of the street lights are not working on the London Bound A2 slip road, this is the section used as a shared footpath and cycle path alongside the slip road carrying traffic from Strood onto the London bound A2 trunk road. The lack of lighting is highly dangerous and makes it nearly impossible to be seen (as a pedestrian) when on the path and impossible to see where you're going when walking or running towards Strood. This has been an issue for number of years despite multiple rounds of road maintenance taking place. The slip road and pathway were both resurfaced in March and early April 2024 with a number of total closures overnight, yet the lighting was not repaired or replaced.

Illegal parking on grass verges creating a mud bath, 8th February
This problem is predominantly when parents are dropping off and collecting children from Bligh Way School. They ignore the environment and frontage of peoples houses. Some wooden posts have been put on the opposite side of the road which has elevated the problem.

Litter and Detritus, 4th July
Build-up of litter and detritus on the sliproad from the A289 onto the A2 London-bound.
The edge of the road gulley is thick with inches detritus going out at least 1 or 2 feet into the road. Has not been swept in years.
Reported previously but nothing has been done.
Cannot be good for the drainage and safety of the road, as well as looking like an absolute state.
Vegetation/grass needs cutting back, litter needs clearing and the road gulleys desperately need sweeping.
