This pot hole has been there for quite awhile and as I’ve been informed from locals and as a result of it not being visable it’s unavoidable and as a result I’ve damaged my vehicle police were called and had to close the road as it was a danger the location is between the smith hill house and the 50mph sign on smith hill lane b2010

Pot hole/drain edge erosion, outside 1 Swan Place, High Street, Yalding, 29th March
This road surface is causing excessive noise & vibration to num 1 Swan Place, High Street, Yalding. Vehicles cannot avoid it due to width restricted road. Vehicles also fly/speed along here dangerously too fast, speed cameras would greatly reduce this issue & reduce noise at this end of the bridge, as well as providing an income for the council.

Deep pothole or drain on left side of road where floods have been., 26th November
Was coming back from Maidstone to Yalding in twilight and rain about 4.40 p.m. yesterday. Because of oncoming traffic with lights on and the dark, couldn't see what caused the car to drop into a hole, which couldn't have been avoided anyway due to oncoming cars. But the hole is either where the drain on the left is, or a pothole near the drain and is very deep. We thought the springs may have been damaged on the car.

The whole edge of the road has sunk like a large pothole in what is already a narrow single track lane. There is also a deep pothole. The edge of the road is being eroded by the huge tractors that go up and down the lane with great frequency., 28th December
I have reported this problem before and there has been no action whatsoever.
