The street light number JKBK03 has not worked since it was installed 5 years ago. I reported it January 2023 and it was acknowledged that it didn't work. Roll on yet another year and it still has not been fixed. Travelling south on Hermitage Lane the lamppost was installed at a new road junction at a point were the road narrow. Milton Street needs resurfacing, 6th January
Milton Street from the A26 to a least Pope Street is now in very poor repair.
There are potholes all along the street as well as bumps and areas that are dipped.
You have to drive very slowly to attempt to avoid the hazards and it has only become worse over the past 6-9 months.
I recommend driving along the street yourselves to understand how poor it is.

Near miss: curved mirror out of alignment and sight lines, 3rd November
Kettle lane junction with Lower Road. Turning into lower road in both directions is hazardous. The photos (captured by Google and no less valid) show the difficult junction. Take a look at aerial photography too.
A near miss was reported yesterday on our local group.
Could the engineers take a look. Improve the mirror alignment and fastenings and check it is fit for purpose. Is this even a KCC mirror. If not , who’s is it.
Could the road have a very temporary out of hours closure for arborists to cut the sight line to the east (or allow residents to do it safely).
Many thanks
