Double yellow lines, 26th September
BL5 1FQ, between PJH and Amscreen. This road was resurfaced a few months ago and previously had double yellow lines as with the rest of the area. But after the work, they were not repainted. So every day there are many large HGV’s parked on one side, reducing the road down to one lane for around 500 meters. At peak times it becomes blocked and this is very dangerous. Please re-install the double yellows as soon as possible.

No filter on traffic lights, 1st December
When turning right from Salford Road onto St Helens Road it is almost impossible to get through the lights due to the volume of oncoming traffic. Cars can only get through (just 2 cars) once the lights go from Green to Red. You are taking your life in your hands. There are filters on the other Traffic Lights at the junction but not where I have pinned. We travel to work this way every day and have a problem turning right every time. It is extremely dangerous and is only a matter of time before ther is a fatal accident.

3 flags are rocking, plus another 2-3 are getting loose on this stretchof footway. Two flags at the end of anearby ginnel are marked up for repair, so it woukd make sense to schedule all of them tobe reseated in a single inyervention. This is a recurring problem caused by horse riders using the path. Needs prohibition signs at either end to prevent ongoing recurrence wasting repair budhets.

Vehicles obstructing the pavement, 8th May
The matter has been ongoing for along time now. Numerous vehicles park illegally on the pavement, sometimes fully, outside the properties along Salford Road, causing danger to pedestrians and other road users, with HGVs using it as an overnight stop too. The parked vehicles make it difficult, for those who park on their drives, to see if it’s clear. It’s a 40mph speed limit which means when parked at night side lights should be on but none of the vehicles have them on? Nor do they park with the rear facing traffic to show reflectors, which is also an offence. It is dangerous as most vehicle that travel along the road exceed the speed limit too! Before long there will be a serious accident.
