Constant flytipping, 27th April

Sat, 27 Apr 2024 08:08:54 +0100
53.508238 -2.199173

Can someone take a look at an abandoned vehicle and constant fly tipping around the car park between 9 -31 Bordale Avenue.? Reg AD09 DHY has been in the car park for weeks and has got mould all over the inside. 2 weeks ago a couch was dumped in the car park and last week it was a mattress. All these things are still there and this is constantly happening. Any chance of maybe putting up a camera or signs warning people about fly tipping

M402tb, 23rd April

Tue, 23 Apr 2024 15:23:05 +0100
53.498685 -2.184063

The bus stop is being abused by pavement parking at the stop on the pavement. There is a lay-bye adjacent to the bus stop where parking of large vans and wagons is obstructing the view of the buses approaching the stop. People of all ages more worrying children are stepping out onto the road to look for the bus. It would make more sense to turn the short lay-bye into a pull in bus stop for obvious safety reasons and, to keep the traffic moving avoiding congestion at this location.

Canal - Newtpn Heath. Embankment is a tip., 29th March

Fri, 29 Mar 2024 10:13:08 +0000
53.500834 -2.188085

Whilst using the towpath of the Rochdale Canal, one does what one can to do a bit of litter picking. But the embankment across the water at this particular point is a tip and it is out of reach of any good willing volunteers. One can see there hundreds of Asfa bags full of household rubbish laying on the embankment, making their way into the water every time it rains. Thus is sad. The orientation and spread of the bags suggests they are coming from the houses, so it is not just a major litter picking job for the authorities, but a lesson in civic responsibility for the local residents, in my humble opinion. I hope the water authorities and the local housing authorities can collaborate to remove the rubbish and prevent recurrence. All the best.
