Tree, 23rd April
In between 64/66 longden road longsight m12 5SG. There is a large tree that is blocking the light to the residents house ive reported this about 4 times in the past and nothing has been sorted , residents would like it removing completely and putting somewhere else , previously it broke the pavement up and part of the residents doorstep but this got repaired , the tree sheds blossom and it causes problems when wet , bottom of tree is jyst used as a litter dump or pooping area for cats and dogs , the elderly resident had a fall because of this tree and i reported it in the past , can it be removed to a better place or replaced with a smaller tree or even cut down to a decent level. It also causes the residents windows to be dirty plus its next to a lampost and blocks it. Plus no natural light going in the houses , realistically it would be better to remove it as it causes problems to cars also my prevoius reports seem to get ignored even though i post for other people in the street , or i get told trees lean ? Half the trees on the road are either dead or just an eyesore because no one looks after them , residents who wanted these when they first got put in no longer live on the road and residents now dont want them because of problems they cause. Can something happen please be done once and for all instead of the dept ,who deals with trees ignores everything thankyou
