ISSUE: Pimlico North had 17 crimes reported in the last 3 months
ACTION: This requires a 2 pronged attack. Education of victims and detection of suspects. Police need to raise awareness that this crime is occurring in this area. This can be done by speaking to members of the public who are seen with their phones out. Leaflets can be distributed and left in key positions as well as posters displayed in stores and coffee shops. Officers will increase patrols in key areas and at key times in an attempt to detect offenders. Both uniformed and plain clothes patrols utilising bikes as well as utilising stop and search will help detect and prevent offences.
New Metropolitan Police priorities and concerns for this neighbourhood will be published here once they are announced by Metropolitan Police through the data.police.uk portal.
