Large vehicle left on road, not MOTd and unsafe for emergency vehicle access, 27th April

Sat, 27 Apr 2024 14:59:17 +0100
51.413011 -0.071655

The vehicle has been parked on a narrow residential street bend at the junction of Madeline Road, Versailles Road and Worcester Close. This is an extremely busy road for parking, and due to the size and location of the vehicle, when cars are parked on both sides of the road, it would be impossible for a Fire Engine or other large vehicles to gain access. The vehicle is not MOTd. The vehicle has not moved since at least February and myself and other neighbours have not seen anyone attend the vehicle. It has damage to the brake lights. It has been reported to police, however their guidance was to also contact yourselves. The CAD reference for MetPol is: CAD 4870/18APR

Abonded vehicle blocking highway after road works completed, 27th April

Sat, 27 Apr 2024 14:37:11 +0100
51.403755 -0.055213

There is an abandoned vehicle blocking north bound carriage way. Causing considerable danger to and confusion to emroad users after removal of road works this morning. This vehicle urgently needs to be removed before there is a serious accident. Separately why after 3 weeks of gas works closing one lane of this road under the birkbeck railway bridge werethe drai s not fixed art the same time. For months this road has flooded and each time the council states this is the responbility of Southern gas networks. Clearly this hasn't been fixed. Will someone take responsibility for the flooding and fix the problem which has been on going for a number of years.

Fly tipping rubbish, 27th April

51.415405 -0.065868

Between 8.30 and 9.30 Saturday 27 March someone has just tossed a load of rubbish along Castledine road. Ironically this person has (presumably accidentally) littered their own name badge. This stretch of road has a serious problem with litter, fly tipping, dog waste. I’ve reported this to the council numerous times - we need more than a couple of poorly visible street signs, there needs to be a bin, better signage, leaflets or even CCTV.

It's Rubbish... Has someone forgotten about this being reported previously? Are the Registry Heights managing agents completely not looking after their surrounding area? Are they happy to take the rental payments from their tenants but not to look after the immediate surrounding area? Can I get a broom and sweep all of this in to their car park and see if they deal with it finally or is this a council issue? *** Previously reported 10 days ago... and in 28 Feb and in Jan and throughout 2023.... ***

Large pothole/raised road surface, 26th April

Fri, 26 Apr 2024 12:07:38 +0100
51.426266 -0.07481

Very large pothole/raised road surface appeared out of nowhere. It looks a bit like the road surface would by a giant tree root, but I think it's more likely that a very heavy vehicle has displaced some of the subsurface. Large areas affected.

Fri, 26 Apr 2024 11:59:11 +0100

Years ago, a large tree was removed from the pavement outside the gate to 63-67 Broseley Grove and rear access gate used by residents (including small children) living in Elvino Road SE26 5LD. Since then the tarmacked surface has sunk revealing what is now a 4cm upright metal rod which is causing a trip hazard when residents put their bins out for collection and when hedge-cutting. We would like this dangerous rod removed please.
