Large vehicle left on road, not MOTd and unsafe for emergency vehicle access, 27th April

Sat, 27 Apr 2024 14:59:17 +0100
51.413011 -0.071655

The vehicle has been parked on a narrow residential street bend at the junction of Madeline Road, Versailles Road and Worcester Close. This is an extremely busy road for parking, and due to the size and location of the vehicle, when cars are parked on both sides of the road, it would be impossible for a Fire Engine or other large vehicles to gain access. The vehicle is not MOTd. The vehicle has not moved since at least February and myself and other neighbours have not seen anyone attend the vehicle. It has damage to the brake lights. It has been reported to police, however their guidance was to also contact yourselves. The CAD reference for MetPol is: CAD 4870/18APR

Floodlights shining into my bedroom window., 27th April

Sat, 27 Apr 2024 10:47:40 +0100
51.424354 -0.098282

Hese lights were installed a few years ago. They are so bright and less than 1m from my window. At night it’s like broad daylight in my bedroom. I’ve asked before for a guard/barrier to be attached as it is on other examples of the same light on the street. I have done it via email in person and reporting here but still nothing has happened. First reported in 2019 on here.

Fly tipping rubbish, 27th April

Sat, 27 Apr 2024 09:45:32 +0100
51.415405 -0.065868

Between 8.30 and 9.30 Saturday 27 March someone has just tossed a load of rubbish along Castledine road. Ironically this person has (presumably accidentally) littered their own name badge. This stretch of road has a serious problem with litter, fly tipping, dog waste. I’ve reported this to the council numerous times - we need more than a couple of poorly visible street signs, there needs to be a bin, better signage, leaflets or even CCTV.

Large pothole/raised road surface, 26th April

Fri, 26 Apr 2024 12:07:38 +0100
51.426266 -0.07481

Very large pothole/raised road surface appeared out of nowhere. It looks a bit like the road surface would by a giant tree root, but I think it's more likely that a very heavy vehicle has displaced some of the subsurface. Large areas affected.
