ISSUE: Reducing Violent Crime ( Robbery/ VAWG)
In line with MET policy. Reducing Robberies along Chamberlayne Road.
To work in partnership with local community members and schools as a high proportion of robbery victims are of school age.
It had been reported that robberies were occurring along Chamberlayne Road mostly between the hours of 1500 -1700 hrs Monday to Friday and that the victims are of school age.
School children like to have the latest mobile phones or trainers for example which therefore makes them an easy target. Also things such as not being aware to keep personal items out of sight when walking from school (air pods
ACTION: After schools patrols have seen a reduction in Robbery in the area.

ACTION: Ward Team to conduct patrols in this area. To conduct a Street a Day Crime prevention visits /leaflet drops.
