29 Cavendish Road NW6 7XR, 4th May
The Builders/occupants of one of the small block of Council flats directly to the left of 29 Cavendish Road (same side of the road) have dumped a load of heavy duty materials from the third flat down. They were throwing the materials out of the window without any warning signs or protection for anyone passing by. Then left all the rubbish by the tree outside 29 Cavendish Road. This is not acceptable and unfair to residents who try to upkeep the area. So tired of these irresponsible people just dumping stuff without consideration for others. I would be grateful if you can please action appropriately and have the rubbish removed.
Many thanks.
Kind regards.
Monica

Footbridge closed for almost 18 months, 4th May
Hi there I live in an apartment overlooking regents canal and the footbridge which i used to use to get to and from work. It was ‘temporarily’ closed in the beginning of 2023 and has not reopened almost half way through 2024. My view of the canal has been completely blocked out this entire time and also added extra time to my commute to work. This issue needs to be resolved as there has been no work on this bridge for countless months and without explanation to residents.

Bus stop grass verge and street between Winchester avenue and kilburn arms, 4th May
I frequently complain about this area and will continue to do so. Why not contact me to explain your take on the issue. It obviously might help to put a bin in there. I spoke to a street cleaner at 1129 yesterday morning who was generally not doing his job on the pavement and decided to ask him if the grass verge was his responsibility. He said no. I decided not to go into into it with him but instead try reporting as being on council estate grounds, which the area does actually border. See below for your response. I say your response because you are Brent in terms of responsibility for eithe the road, the verge or the estate and we pay our council tax for your responsibility to maintain all aspects of these areas. Why should I have to continue to report this and get no contact at your end or reassurance that you will attempt to resolve the problem. Last year the grass was mown around this time without any litter clearance and the litter was shredded. Please please help us to keep the area tidy. Bins signage and dedicated sweeping is needed.
UPDATES Unfortunately the problem reported is not in a location covered by our Grounds Maintenance contractor to whom it has been sent, so we have had to close this report.
State changed to: No further action
