Canisters of nitrous oxide dumped, 26th April
A black cardboard box has been dumped on the pavement outside 19 - 23 The Limes Avenue, on the corner with Cross Road. It contains some plant material and 6 to 8 large nitrous oxide cylinders. I have reported it to the police twice but they are of the view it is for Enfield to .collect. I have pointed out that nitrous oxide is illegal and children could pick this up but they don’t seem interested. Over to you Enfield. I would say this is urgent. It has been there for quite a few days.

Road works extended, 26th April
These works were scheduled to finish by April 28. According to the One Network site, accessed via Barnet Council, they will now last until May 13. These works have already been going on for weeks, and have diverted huge amounts of traffic through a tiny side road (Horsham Avenue, N12 and Buxted Road, N12). These roads are not meant for the traffic normally handled by the road where the works are being carried out (Friern Barnet Lane). Drivers, at peak time, are driving fast and dangerously through the side streets, putting themselves, other road users, pets and people at serious risk. Some drivers are driving on pavements, or breaking the speed limit by almost double.
Please, let Barnet council know that the contractors must make progress faster, and not be allowed to extend the duration of the works unneccesarily (by not working weekends, or slowing due to staff shortages). This work must be done in time or it makes a mockery of the permits granted to them, and it encourages future delays. Importantly, it puts people at risk.
This extension seems to have been granted by Barnet ( work number MU113SA-1169463 ) with not much thought.

Bush, 23rd April
I have been walking past this house for years and have noticed that the bush has slowly grown over the boundary of the house in to Torrington Park pavement, it is now become quiet a big bush which obstructs us pedestrians and find it difficult walking past with children especially with a pram. I think the bush does not belong to the council, but i could be wrong.

Dog foul bags, 23rd April
As you can see from the picture, a dog owner with, assuming they have two dogs has left dog bags where the public walk by, had they walked a few yards up the road, they could’ve put the bags in Ferry Park dustbin or slightly further up to the bus stop bin, but chose to leave the bags there. This is a daily occurrence sometimes the bags are left further down the lane and this area of Friern Barnet Lane is plastered with Dog bags or poop where irresponsible dog owners/walkers failed to pick up their dogs waste.
