ISSUE: Violence with injury crimes are our high priority. Officers are conducting high visibility patrols across the ward on a regular basis to deter the offenders and to provide members of the public with sense of security. Our aim is to increase public confidence by offering reassurance and ability to approach officers in a public space should residents wish to discuss any concerns.

ISSUE: DWO's provide reassurance visits where they discuss the incident and offer crime prevention advice. We aim to increase police presence in the areas known for burglaries but also to conduct reassurance patrols after the unfortunate event in case burglary had already took place. NPT offers their contact details to our vulnerable residents should they need reassurance or a chat after such intimate crime. Social media (Twitter/OWL) platforms are utilised to inform residents/neighbourhood watch members of any events and to offer crime prevention advice. We aim to gather all the available/outstanding evidence such as CCTV enquiries to assist in investigations and to capture the offenders.
