Street Light too bright shines invasively into homes, 26th January

Mon, 26 Jan 2015 07:31:44 +0000
53.2777657525562 -4.61423794973745

The street lighting (notably light no.29, opposite my close) is orange and very bright, without any directional protection. Hence it shines very very brightly into my bedroom (top floor, velux windows face upwards ie away from the street and above the level of the light) and the children's bedroom, making it hard to get to sleep and hard to stay asleep. The colour is unnatural and this light pollution is unhealthy and stress-inducing. I am sure I am not the only one affected (since Apr 14 when moved in). Please revise the type of light for the street and can you put some sort of skirt around it so the light shines only on the street and not into people's houses.

Closed Childrens' Play Park, 2nd April

Wed, 02 Apr 2014 13:30:01 +0100
53.2807544091309 -4.62041388095099

Why has the Play Park been closed for 2 months? The villagers have moved the tumbled down wall and flotsam from the park. I hope the wall is replaced with sensible railings allowing the sea to flow through them the next time we have floods.

Litter and overgrowing briars, 30th March

Sun, 30 Mar 2014 13:24:59 +0100
53.283466 -4.61688

At the end of Trearddur Road and for the first 30 metres there is a quantity of litter which has been thrown there from passing traffic and has also probably been blown in from Lon St Ffraid. The problem has been exacerbated by the overgrown foliage of ivy and briars, in the main from the garden of Arosfa. The verges have also been damaged from the overnight parking of a council vehicle ( a Ford ranger pick up) which causes problems to pedestrians having to walk in the centre of the road and some have had near misses with traffic entering the narrow entrance.
