This car has been parking on the pavement like this for 2 months now only once in that whole 2 months of going past this 5 times a day have I seen it moved... Absolutely disgusting there blocking a dropped curb on a junction and they have a blue bag on display so they should really be thinking of the elderly bungalows across from them that have mobility difficults and there out right blocking a dropped curbon on junction.... You can't get a wheelchair at all to fit Iv tried Iv also asked a friend with a pram and she can't either...

New path markers, 17th September

Sun, 17 Sep 2023 12:58:54 +0100
53.14354 -4.124888

The public food path markers havent been up dated in 10+ years they are in a state of disrepair or just little nubs in the gound so you end up wondering around the fields looking for the gate so ideally the whole footpath from Lon garnedd up to dirnorwig though the mountain/fields need replacing especially because the bushes and trees have know been cut so it's most appealing for you to hike up this way

Bins, 6th April

Thu, 06 Apr 2023 14:22:51 +0100
53.14697 -4.126504

Despite complaining for 6+ years there are still residents green wheel bins being kept on a public highway. the second its windy the bins go flying in to the middle of the car park and damageing parked cars the amount of times Iv seen bins almost hit someone walking to and from the shop. people park and can't get in there boots because of the bins being behind them. Summer is coming again so no doubt there will be a battle with rats in our gardens trying to get in our homes because of the amount of bins out there. A considerable amount of damage has been caused to a property (pebble dashing) from the bins constantly being put agents/just leaving them there permanently agents the property and people can't go around the corner to leave the car park so they drive in to the bins to get around the corner. the broken bins don't hold waste so quite often you see residents out there litter picking when it's not even there waste. hopefully something properly will get done this time otherwise Gwynedd council are going to have a heffty bill for damages caused from the green wheel bins getting kept on a public highway

Slipper steps, 27th January

Fri, 27 Jan 2023 12:30:54 +0000
53.146419 -4.126369

Over the years the steps top has washed away and have become quite slippery and are very uneven. Ideal it could do with a hand rail for the elderly people who use that path as a easier way of going to the shop rather than up the steep hill

Young so-called footballers are damaging property in the High Street, 26th October

Wed, 26 Oct 2022 15:12:47 +0100
53.147076 -4.126194

I am having to resort to protective measures to prevent my property from being vandalised by children playing ball games in the High Street. Accidental damage to downpipes is a more likely scenario, being made more vulnerable by the installation of an External Wall Insulation system. The standard downpipe brackets are anchored onto the EWI system using 85mm spiral fixings. They are designed to affix light-weight object, like downpipes, onto the cladding. They are not designed, however, for the buffetting of footballs and intrusive vandalism, day after day. The first picture was of my neighbour's property. It shows the cladding being picked at with a nail (perhaps a finger-nail or a nail), confessedly by one of the witnesses to the crime. The other two pictures show the damage that the constantly kicking of a football does to a property with Soltherm cladding. It is high time that the authorities imposed a ban on ballgames in the High Street. It is a public thoroughfare, after all. Do they not have gardens and a playfield to play in? Of course, they do.

"Don't touch! Take off your shoes, for this is holy ground!", 4th March

Thu, 04 Mar 2021 12:46:43 +0000
53.145616 -4.132775

Reasonable people try to seek common ground. If you find yourself in a conversation with a neighbour whose views on flyposting are quite different from your own (let's say he thinks it's OK to break the law so long as the time-honoured two-finger salute is being given to Westminster), things will probably go better if you assume that the other person cares deeply about some other aspect of the law that he respects - like not damaging a sign post. 'Don't touch that post!' he orders. So either he is saying that public property should rightly be respected enough not to cover it with stickers, or that it is the stickers themselves that should be venerated - more than Wales's future or the well-being of future generations. When I follow the logic, I realize that it was the latter. 'Don't touch that!', and my acknowledging perhaps that the stickers were indeed sacred, would at least have helped keep things from degenerating to the level of mature discourse, religious or otherwise. Now that would never have done. So, I get called 'sad'. Not having met me before, he is quite sure that I am a 'sad' person. Then I can only say that I wish I were sadder still - anything that I may not go along with such ill-informed, political idolatry.
