Poor condition of ladder stile, 1st April
The ladder stile on this riverside footpath is now in a dangerous condition.
It has slumped and so the angle of each ladder now makes the gaps between rings too easy to slip though, and the upper section has dropped so that there is now a protruding length of barbed wire across, above the level of the top rungs. Also, the lower part of one leg has rotted and is propped up precariously on a stone.

Bridge at llanwrst, 5th September
It is now very obvious that the recent upgrading of the road thru to Bettws, will create evengreater problems at the Llanwrst Bridge. Could we not have a mirror ,perhaps high up on the wall of the new flats at the foot of the bridge to show traffic from the West if the Bridge is clear the traffic lights do not fully answer the problem .If you proceed after they have stopped flashing a vehicle can proceed from the West putting the lights out of sight only to meet another having entered the bridge from the east.
