The road looks like a war zone, multiple potholes and bumps., 25th January
The whole lane looks like a war zone with the amount and size of the potholes, these stretch the whole lane from Bingley Lodge farm to Telpyn Farm. It's horrendous, I've damaged my car a number of times including a flat tyre which I had to get replaced. It's been like this for a couple of years, but has got much worse in the last 6 months. It's impossible to drive over 10mph without feeling like all the tyres are able to blow.

Worn out road surfaces in Ruthin!, 12th April
The road surface in this street is badly in need of renewal, it’s worn out, continually patched and long overdue for a new surface along with most other streets in the town centre. The roads around the outer part are now mostly resurfaced except for Station Road, just wish someone would take a long hard look at the whole issue, come on Denbighshire Council and Traffic Wales, take a look and let’s get things done.

Multiple potholes/road surface badly broken up, 18th January
We have complained about the state of this road for at least 10 years to no avail. There are multiple potholes, the edges of the road have broken up and lack of a functioning drainage system is making the situation worse. Problems we encounter: 1: this is the shortest and safest route for us to access the B5105. Other routes are longer (via the village of Efenechtyd) or more dangerous (junction to the southwest of our house). Our B&B business has been affected by reviews mentioning the bad surface (pre-Covid).

Poor attempt of repair, 27th September
The road in question is in shocking condition. The road is in desperate need of repair as it’s causing un needed wear and tare to the vehicles travelling along the road. The council have done a poor attempt of trying to repair the road and this time should do a proper job. My car’s suspension is becoming damaged and will require spending on to repair all because the council at to bone idle to repair this road. As well as the wear and tare on the car, the horse boxes which travel on this road is being thrown around which is causing stress to the horses in the trailer, again, the council will he held accountable for this. Also there is a ditch on the side of the road which requires cleaning out, that should stop the water from sitting on the road and dissolving the road surface.

Uphill from Ruthin to Clawdd Newydd, in drivers line cluster of medium and large potholes, exactly where wheels would be. Far worse due to wet winter., 29th March
I don't drive B5105 that often, but a neighbour tells me it has got considerably worse this winter due to flooding and wet weather. Large cluster in this section. National speed limit area, no street lighting and under trees so impossible to spot and avoid at night. Onne in particular is large and Dee, as my car jolted down the hole and it jarred my seated driving position. It was a shock and unnerved me in the dark. I was worried I'd breakdown in a remote area at night as a result. Above Firgrove b&b and before Tai isa going south west uphill.

Large potholes across the road on a bend, making the road dangerous., 13th January
There have been large potholes on Telpyn Hill for over 12 months. The poor attempts at fixing these have lasted barely a few days before the potholes open up again. Our councillor has been in touch repeatedly and nothing has been done. The head of roads and head of "streetscene" are both aware and still nothing has been done.

Lack of safe footpaths in ruthin park and lack of appropriately sited benches, 16th October
I'm 64 and I walk in Ruthin Park every day for daily exercise and so do a lot of other older people and I'm asking for consideration to be given not just to the needs of the young but also to the needs of older people who still enjoy going outdoors to enjoy fresh air and exercise. There are 3 children's areas in the park and approximately 10-12 benches all situated in one area near the pond, as well as 3-4 tables with seats. I've been at various times and I've found maybe one person sitting there, the children are in their areas ... and so are their parents. So the benches are wasted where they are. There are a couple of footpaths which come to an abrupt halt and then you're in mud. I walk my dog around the field, I've slipped several times in the mud and there isn't a bench in sight for older dog walkers to rest on whilst they're negotiating the muddy field. Also the opening on both sides of the narrow bridge across the river towards the public footpath is a death trap. One minute you're on concrete, the next you're in mud. I've also slipped several times there too. I'm beginning to think authorities aren't interested in older people at all, or the need for a safe environment for them and perhaps they'd like us all to be invisible, voiceless old people who stay at home because it's not safe for us to go out? Our GPs tell us to go out and get exercise ... but often we end up with further injuries if we do. We may be getting old but we're still very much alive AND we want to improve our environment for ALL ages. Thank you.

The whole street would benefit from a good clean up ..., 17th September
Ruthin is a beautiful town ... but Mwrog Street lets it down, it's looking grubby and unkempt when it should be showing itself off to its best advantage. The exterior of the large pub at the junction of Borthyn and Mwrog St has gone well beyond 'shabby chic', it's a landmark on that corner but not a pretty or welcoming sight at all and there's broken glass left outside on the pavement and an overflowing rubbish bin which isn't a pretty sight at all. Let's take a pride in our streets and lift the whole place up. Also, parking would be greatly improved for local residents if they could all park their cars 'nose-in to the pavement' rather than lengthways ... then we'd all manage to get a spec. Also there's dog fouling on the pavements which is not on.
