FIXMYSTREET IN L24 0SW
The following problems have been reported on Fix My Street within 2 miles of L24 0SW:
Phasing of lights, 25th April
The phasing of these lights seems to have been reduced in recent months. Now only about four cars get through to turn right. This leaves cars backing up right through the retail car park. It can take 10 minutes just to get to the lights from the car park. It also means more cars going through on red.

Speed Humps in disrepair, 5th April
The speed humps along Central Way, particularly in the direction of Eastern Avenue, are crumbling away and are no longer a correct shape to allow vehicles to smoothly travel over. We use this route for both our buses and vans, and are experiencing mechanical damage to vehicles as well as affecting ride quality for customers. Some of the speed bumps are not even marked.

Traffic Light issues, 10th March
Several residents have raised concerns about the priority and ordering of the lights at the junction to the Hunts Cross Shopping Centre, with many asking if the timing could be looked at to be more in sync, particularly the lights in the direction of Speke Hall Road and Hillfoot Avenue being slightly out, causing issues to drivers being confused by the left turn and straight on.

Request to investigate and install proportional along walkwau, 9th March
Residents have raised concerns about the lack of bins on the route along Woodend Avenue from Hunts Cross to Speke - it’s a heavily used route and there is concern at the lack of bins post the Bellway traffic lights up to Speke. Suggestions of the near Fleming Road or just past the railway bridge would be welcomed.

Request for bin, 9th March
Residents have reported requesting a new bin for several years on Woodend Avenue, at the bottom of Kingsthorne Park, due to an increase in littering & dog fouling. This is due to the busy traffic on Woodend Avenue and pedestrians not crossing the road to use the bin on the opposing side. Installation of a bin by the bus stoop on Kingsthorne Park side would aid in this issue.
