Banging/loose service cover, 17th April
There is a cover in the road banging every time a car drives over it. It is extremely loud and is waking the family in the night. This has been an ongoing issue for at least the last year but only when heavier vehicles passed over it. Now it is much louder and can be as frequent as every one to two seconds when timed. There is obviously a safety issue here too for road users including cyclists and pedestrians if a car was to lose control as it becomes increasingly more unstable. Hopefully someone can review this with a matter of urgency thanks

Multiple bins blocking the footpath, 3rd April
About 4-6 Bins are permanently placed on the pavement in Uldale Way and I'm struggling to get past them with a pram. Bins have been been there for at least a year.

Traffic light sensor broken, 12th March
At the junction of murihead avenue and lorenzo drive,the traffic lights dont go green heading eastbound unless there is traffic on the other side 'muirhead avenue east heading westbound towards city centre' ,this started about two months ago after when there was roadworks , has mostly affected drivers at night as light wont change causing cars to cross on red , please investigate. Multiple pot holes, 25th February

Pedestrian Crossing - No lights working, 22nd February
Townsend Avenue, Norris Green.
The photo is not so good, but you can see that there are no lights on the traffic lights (on either side of the road).
I did try to report this directly to LCC on Tuesday, but I was on hold for so longer I grew a beard long enough to embarrass ZZ Top. To be honest, I've have not been past there since Tuesday, so my apologies if they have already been fixed.

Damaged Traffic Light, 22nd January
Lower Lane, Fazakereley at the junction with Brookfield Drive. The photo is from Google as I was driving an unable to take a photo. The yellow box - not sure what's it's actually called - is hanging off the pole with the wiring exposed.

Approx 5 inch pothole on the other side from police station towards hospital, 22nd January
L9 6DS
The pothole is on the opposite side of the Lower Lane Police station
On Wednesday 17.01.2024 at approx 19.35 I drove over this pothole and immediately my tyre began to go down in pressure at a fast speed. I managed to pull over in a bus stop on East Lancashire Road. My tyre was complete deflated, I rang the RAC and had to get a call out to replace the tyre.

Traffic Lights: blown bulbs, 11th January
Utting Avenue East at the junction with Lorenzo Drive.
The Red light on this signal has not worked for a while. Also, I noticed (yesterday) that the Green light was 'slow' to illuminate, it didn't come on as normal, if that makes any sense.

Damaged pedestrian signal - Oak Lane North (Pole 3), 12th December
Storm Fergus damage, one of the pedestrian signals (facing towards Oak Lane North (by the bus stop heading towards the city centre) has been ripped off it's mounts and now hanging dangerously close to the road by it's wire, making it hazardous for vehicles (particularly HGVs or the buses) colliding with the hanging signal.

Massive deep pot hole on the corner, 12th December
Turning from East Lancs on to Stonebridge Lane, there is a massive pot hole on the corner which caused my car to veer and nearly crash. There is another one nearby too so hard to miss both. Quite dangerous and needs fixing. This has been there a few weeks I know of

Flooded brook, 20th November
The brook [you can see it marked on the map in blue] continuously floods in heavy rain and this is the result. The water flows from the brook onto the road and pavement. I'm not sure what the solution to this would be, but it's certainly worth looking at as it's really quite bad - the photos sadly don't do it any justice. It can be a few centimetres deep. This often results in a friendly 'stare-out' competition with motorists to make sure they don't splash you. :)
This is on Lower Lane, Fazakerley at the Traffic lights with Brookfield Drive. (Bring a canoe).
