Numerous potholes on A47 at Skeffington, 6th January
A47 travelling east from Billesdon crossroads. There a numerous potholes on the way into Skeffington on both sides; also on the way out of Skeffington and then gutter along towards Tugby. They are now quite large and cars are veering to avoid them.

Dumping of piles of soil, bricks etc, 26th November
Over many months piles of soil and rubble have been dumped onto the wide curve side and now the hedges are at risk of being damaged and removed by diggers on adjacent property. There are rocks placed alongside the grass verge that can be a hazard to walkers and vehicles. These grass verges should be cut and managed by the Council to help biodiversity rather than overcut by others.

Incorrect signage, 12th July
The temporary signs are saying that the road is closed on the 11th and 12th July, no through road between Billesdon and Uppingham roundabout. The signage is incorrect, the road is closed at night only. These erroneous signs keep being placed, affecting local businesses and causing traffic to take alternative, less suitable roads. This keeps happening and it’s unfair and unacceptable. It leads to drivers eventually ignoring signage as they no longer believe them to be true.

Awful Road Surface (Potholes, Cracks and Dips), 12th March
I was driving through Skeffington before, during and after the village earlier and I have never seen so many potholes, cracks and dips ever in my lifetime.
The road surface is generally very poor and people are bound to get flat tyres, damaged suspension on a daily basis. The risks to cyclists and motorcyclists is unbelievable and it only takes one hit for them to come off into potentially oncoming traffic.
Please sort this as a matter of urgency before it's too late.
