There is a give way, priority to on coming traffic, however once stopped you are at the brow of a hill and cannot see if a car is coming until you are commited and passing through.There has been several near misses at this traffic calming site. Surely the priority should be from traffic towards the city not going outbound. Or maybe this is a pointless giveaway putting people at risk. This has only recently been fitted due to building work and new houses.

HUGE Pothole, 22nd February

Huge Pothole, 18th December
Huge Pothole!! This is a safety hazard and will if not already cause ££££'s of damage to vehicles. Its unavoidable if headed towards Humberstone Lane if there is 2 way traffic.
It's approx half a metre wide and god knows how deep.
Can this be addressed asap please.

Ilegally Parked van on road junction, 27th November
There is a yellow Mercedes van that is always illegally parked on the junction of wigley rd and grantham rd, the van is always parked on the corner, which is dangerous and making it very diificult for drivers to to see any approaching vehicles, its only a matter of time before an accident happens.

Huge Pothole, urgent attention required, 23rd October
Driving down from Barkby on the left hand side there are several potholes that really need urgent attention please. Most are near drains, there is one that if you avoid it is awful and I fear will cause damage to cars and eventually cause an accident due to the severity of the hole. I really hope this can be fixed asap.

Road Lane Marking, 23rd October
Hello, when you exit the roundabout, there is a filter lane for a right hand turn into BarkbyThorpe Road the road markings are non-existence! Its very confusing and dangerous for all roadusers. Also, there are so many learner drivers in the area, as its so close to the test centre. I have seen many near miss accidents at this junction switching at the last minute - its only a matter time before there is an awful accident there. The bad weather and dark nights are nearly here, this will only increase the risks at this junctions. It will help so many people if the road marking are re-marked asap. Many thanks

Unsafe Zebra crossing! Urgent, 23rd October
The zebra crossing near the Willow Pub is really becoming a danger to life for pedestrians. The paving stones have lifted on the path and is unusable, especially for people with mobility issues. Someone easily trip or fall. The actual zebra crossing doesn't have any black and white marking on it and is also full of potholes. Even driving at 10mph the crossing is damaging my car.
This needs to be addressed as a matter of urgency for public safety.

Parking around Sandhills Avenue Roundabout, 7th October
People visiting Nirvana Football Club situated on Hamilton Park are parking on the Sandhills Avenue and the roundabout/on grass verges/on corners/on pavements causing people to have to step into the road to get by, and opposite drives on Columbine Road and Speedwell Drive. This blocks your view when driving making emerging from side roads difficult also visibility is affected when walking and crossing the road. This situation happens every Saturday and Sunday mornings. The incidents have been reported to the police on 101 and they say it is the councils responsibility.

Illegal parking stopping us from upgrading infrastructure, 10th August
I had an appointment with an Internet company to install a new cable. However when they came, the box they need access to have had cars parked on them.
These cars are there on double yellows year round and though we have been told that there are patrols in the area, nobody is being ticketed.
These cars sit there for months and weeks and nothing happens about it. Please take some action, I have been put back 3 weeks to install new Internet. Now I am paying out of my pocket for this problem existing and nobody to fix it.
Action needs to be taken now. This is a regular issue and these double yellows need to be a red route. It's pathetic how bad the situation is around here and how ignorant the council has been
