ISSUE: We have received a number of complaints around nuisance Motor cycles and e-scooters around the area which is locally called the Black Path
With people feeling unsafe in the area
ACTION: Officers have conducted both high visibility and plain clothes patrols in the area.
House to house consultations are underway to better understand the concerns.
Intelligence work is also ongoing to identify the riders.

ISSUE: We have received concerns from retailers and Security at the Beaumont Leys Shopping centre that there has been a significant increase in shoplifting and threats being made to store staff.
ACTION: A problem Management Plan will be created
We will work along side the retail stores and security to tackle the offenders.
Crime prevention patrols will take place by Uniformed staff and plain clothed patrols will also take place.
Efforts to improve the collection of CCTV are under way.

ISSUE: Residents have raised concerns over attempts to steal dogs across the ward.
This has been evidenced by an attempted robbery of dogs on the Castle Hill Park which resulted in a serious assault on the owner.
ACTION: We have stepped up patrols in vicinity
