The overgrown greenery is obstructing the pavement on Guthlaxton Way. My husband is disabled and it is very difficult for me to walk him between Herrick Way and Portgate.

Deep pothole near bend., 19th January
The pothole is on the Wigston bound carriageway and is about 4inches deep and approx 12 inch diameter. It could seriously damage a wheel or cause a cyclist to have an accident.

Tractors spilling their load. Stinking, 31st August
Over the last 3 weeks tractors twice have been spilled there load on the Newton lane/guthlaxton way junction. I have been here for 20 years and never known this happen. I can understand it does but why are they cutting through Newton Harcourt. It wasn't that long ago there were signs up saying not to cut through. So we are driving through it then parking up on our drives with all this muck. It's absolutely stinking and ruining my drive. Can they just use the main roads please

Fridge and bin blocking the path, 4th February
This fridge has been dumped outside the 'Fit together' gym for months. I have tried reporting it on 'Love Clean Streets' but without success. I first reported it back in September (approx) and it did vanish for a few weeks. It has been back since about November. I have reported it again and asked the gym owner about it. He said it was going to the tip about 1 month ago. There is now a large cardboard box wedged behind the bin. Should the bin even be on the footpath? It is usually full of rubbish and always has litter scattered around it. I do try to keep the street clean by 'wombling' occasionally but it is getting depressing now. PLEASE HELP.

Extensive road damage spanning both sides of the road where Welford Road passes Cooks Lane, 12th January
The road surface has been in a poor condition here for in excess of a year and is getting worse. When vehicles drive over it especially HGVs and buses the noise can be heard excessively and the impact felt in nearby properties.

The tarmacadamed pathway between Little Dale and Stanhope Road has started to sink in a few places. There is a dangerous pothole at the Little Dale end where the tarmac has given way and caused a deep hole. This is dangerous, especially to disabled people
