Mere lane just before bend, 20th April
When driving down this road and heading towards the bend, I had to drive straight through a pot hole due to traffic coming round the bend at speed, only option I had was to drive through it as was unable to slow down or swerve to avoid it, this caused an instant flat tyre and damage to my alloy wheel on front passenger side, had to be recovered by AA on 19/04/23

Vegetation obscuring sightline at junction risking safety of pedestrians, 10th June
When walking off the the end of the footpath on Main Road to walk up Woodway Lane pedestrians' view of vehicles and bicycles approaching the junction from Woodway Lane is completely obscured by overhanging vegetation. In these circumstances there is no possibility of eye contact between drivers / riders and pedestrians until the last second. Some vehicles approach the junction from Woodway Lane at speed (the 30 mph speed limit only starts a few yards from the junction) and ones intending to turn left on to Main Road (towards the school) tend to keep well over to the left close to the side of the road, and often are not looking (because they are looking right for traffic coming up Main Road) thus risking pedestrians at the side of the Woodway Lane. One speed limit sign is obscured by overhanging vegetation.

Gatepost rotten at ground level & fallen over leaving gate open. It needs replacing (there's a very large area of unfenced arable land to the south which could make it very difficult to catch any livestock that had got through the gate).
