Still blocked I have been logging this for nearly a year now and through phone and fix my street, we have even had a surveyor over a year ago and said that there is a issue with the drain and also had people come out to “unblock” but yet it’s still flooding the path and over the road.

Fourth time STILL BLOCKED, 8th February
This is the fourth time I have logged this and each time there has been a lorry come out and clean round 3 of the 5 drains in this part of the a47. this has been going on since the work was done to the water pipes and the drains got compacted with mud when the vehicles where digging here. clearly there must be a serious blockage in the pipes and need to be dug up and replaced as even with sticky drizzle it floods.

Surface run-off due to inadequate drainage, 7th February
Hi Donna, Hope all is well? This is actually just a follow-up to my previous submission, as one of the entrances was altered (which is great) but the main entrance has not yet. The workmen said they'd be back, but that was several months ago now and our main entrance still overflows. Thanks, Rob

Mud and water, 18th January
During heavy rain, water runs from the field and driveway to the grain store in Back Lane, Morcott.
There is nothing to stop the run off and the deluge of water and mud runs down Mount Pleasant Road, into the High Street and down Station Road.
Strutt and Parker, the agents for the Rowley Estate have been informed and requested to find a solution to stop the water and mud coming from the grain store yard. The new estate, Vine Farm has not helped the situation as the yard was used for storage causing more problems with run off.

New pothole in tarmac on edge of drain; risk of enlargement; drain falling in., 7th January
Apparently new issue. At present, limited risk to road users, but potential for sudden deterioration (which would create a risk to the drain as a whole).

Flooding of premises, 3rd January
On the attached map, the water runs off the agricultural land to the north of Back Road. The water then flows across the road and into grips on the south side, ending in the drainage ditch. The flows here have improved since last October following the investment of the residents of Back Road to improve the grips and clear the ditch. However, this improved flow, while helping the residents in this location, has resulted in larger volumes of water reaching the drain chamber on the north side of Main Street (Photo A) just down from Seaton Road junction. It then appears to flow underground across the road where it cannot go further because presumably of blockages further down Main Street (Photo B), possibly at Cuckoo Close. The water is now on the surface and runs down Main Street to the Old School House, where it runs south along School Lane into Church Lane.
At the western end of Church Lane, the water puddles in two areas (Photos C & D) where the drains are also blocked, although on the surface, they look clear.
The result of these blockages is that the Rectory (Photo E) at the western end of Church Lane was flooded, and water started rising through the floor in the Church Cottage just opposite the Rectory.
My understanding was that these drains were cleaned in November, but it is evident further work will be required either to flush them through or CCTV investigate any damage by trees, etc
Given that these have previously been reported, can you please advise when work will commence to clear the issues
