The 'Give Way' markings are almost completely gone, 10th September
The Give Way markings have been 'rubbed out' by turning vehicles. I think it would be better if the 'old fashioned' type of road marking material were used rather than the thin paint used pretty well everywhere nowadays that seems to rub off in no time at all. This junction is dangerous at the best of times with severely inadequate sight line distance to the right when emerging from Melton Road from Clawson.

Vehicle debris, 17th March
Some months ago a vehicle collided with the bridge wall which spans the disused railway line causing extensive damage to the bridge wall. The vehicle recovery company removed the vehicle but (you guessed it) left the front bumper complete with number plate on the grass verge. WHY?. These companies are paid a fee to remove the vehicle and any large items ie bumpers. In this case, if the bumper is removed from the site it will fall to the council and taxpayer to pick up the bill. This can’t be right.

Vehicle debris, 17th March
Several months ago a car collided with the bridge will which spans the old disused railway line causing extensive damage to the bridge wall. The recovery company removed the damaged vehicle and (you guessed it) left the front bumper together with number plate on the side of the road. The recovery companies are paid a fee to remove both the vehicles and any large crash items ie. bumpers etc. in this case it will be the local council who will foot the bill unless they chase up the company responsible.
